Beautiful bed and breakfast, 5 minutes drive into the centre of Killarney. Within 3 minutes to the national park. We are an excellent base for the ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula. With large guest rooms are all en suite with flat screen television and free wifi. The bedding is all Egyptian cotton for your comfort and peaceful for a good nights sleep. Breakfast each morning is served in our large dining room with views across the mountains. You will have the most wonderful stay and memories of your time spent in Killarney.

We are two couples and stayed at Lios Daire B&B in early July 2022 for 5 nights It was a wonderful experience and the longer we stayed the more we realised the efforts made by the owners John & Anne to ensure this is a premier bed & breakfast. The bedrooms are a generous size and cleanliness is paramount, the beds are comfortable as you rest in Egyptian cotton sheets. Then you rise to a generous and wide variety of fruits, cereals, cold meats, delicious fruit yogurts with honey, and beautifully prepared poached eggs or boiled eggs to your liking. Also, there is an array of pastries and the all-important Irish brown soda bread. John & Anne are great hosts and really extend wonderful Irish hospitality. Thank you both we will be back.

We recently spent a couple of nights at Lios Daire. This is a very relaxing place. Anne and John are great hosts and made us very welcome. The furnishings are wonderful and very tasteful. Breakfast was great too. This is a wonderful area to visit and we were given plenty of help planning our itinerary. We visited the Ring of Kerry and spent time in the town exploring bars and restaurants. Certainly recommended.

Returned from a simply wonderful stay at this exceptional bed and breakfast. The pictures really do not do it justice. Everything is top quality from the furniture, gorgeous beds and beautiful linen. My room had a 2 m bed with lovely ensuite and massive walk in wardrobe. Beautiful view of the mountains with cows in the far field from the picture window. Although a lovely large room also felt cosy. There is a large breakfast/living room for guests with cosy wood burning stove. Nothing was too much trouble for Anne and John the excellent hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the local and wider area. Very close to Killarney centre with the great shopping and excellent food and drinks on offer. Recommend the homemade pancakes for breakfast prepared by John on the Aga stove. Simply stunning place to stay and right in the middle of all the attractions of the area. Will definitely be back!…

We had the great fortune of booking Lios Daire for 3 nights from 31 August. We had a very warm welcome, stayed in beautiful, clean rooms with fully accessible facilities which was a bonus for people that have less mobility. Every morning, we chose a gluten free porridge followed by an expertly cooked full Irish gluten free breakfast with all the trimmings. This was one of the best breakfasts I have eaten! We were able to come and go as we pleased and were offered tea and cake when we popped back for respite. Anne and John were very helpful with restaurant and place of interest recommendations. Finally, Anne and John are extremely kind and generous and good humoured. What can I say but Anne and John made our trip to Kerry. We will be back!

The time I spent at lios daire was nothing but exceptional. The hosts John and Anne were very friendly and inviting. The breakfast was delicious ( I would highly recommend the pancakes) I really hope to one day return and have another splended stay

We spent five nights at Lios Daire. We had a warm Irish welcome from John and Ann, and Kerry-Anne (John's wonderful and capable young niece - a delightful young woman), for whom nothing was too much trouble, with plenty of advice on restaurants, local attractions, etc. They made us feel really at home. Our room was very comfortable and impeccably clean, with many attractive touches. We had fresh carafe of water daily, and biscuits provided each day on the hospitality tray. Breakfast was tasty and copious, and beautifully presented. John is an excellent cook. The location is excellent. A quiet position on the edge of town, only a few minutes drive to the centre. And ready access to the Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry route, and other attractions further afield. All-in-all, an excellent stay.…

I had the pleasure of staying with John & Ann last weekend and it was nothing short of wonderful! A warm welcome, a cuppa and a chat on arrival made me feel like I was staying with old friends! The accommodation was fantastic, sparkling clean, beautiful decor, a big super comfy bed... and the breakfast... my god I’ve never had pancakes like it! A week later and I’m still talking about them. Beautiful surroundings and a great location, this spot is perfect for anyone who wants to experience a genuine Irish welcome, great food and explore Killarney ! We were here for one night. We arrived 2 hours before the check-in and they welcome us with tea and smiles. They also gave us very good advices on what to do. It is a VERY clean place, with beautiful furnitures. Breakfast was good and generous.

Stayed here on Easter Saturday and couldn’t fault a thing. The premises are beautiful. The room was spotless and a really comfortable bed and good firm pillows. The breakfast was nothing short of excellent and freshly cooked to each individuals taste. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for you. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Killarney and this beat them hands down. I will definitely be returning
