General manager (arrogant) Paul o sullivan does not like any feed back of negativity from anyone and can't take it, he gives you a spill of what amazing staff and facilities, full of s''t, this man says he is there day and night, full of s' 't, we send a comment on how we experienced and he could not accept genuine comments and went on a rant, which he could not except that his staff are at fault and we as customers got his vile comments and disgarding negativity from consumers, all we said is that we got a allergic reaction from the sheets of disgracefull higiene poor detergents used. I hope this picture helps that any one has common sence stay away please,

The first impresssion vas very good and the check in was easy and the the staff helpful. The room was cosy and very clean. Very nice deco. City centre is only five minutes walk. The Breakfast very good and tasty.

From the moment we arrived the hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful lobby and amazing attention to detail from the staff. A manager walked us to our room and showed us the facilities in the room. The room was so comfortable. Food was delicious and the service in the bar was brilliant. The breakfast is waiter service with an extensive menu. My daughter and I couldn’t go to the breakfast room so they took our order (from another member of my family) and delivered the breakfast to us at our room. By far the best service I’ve received at a hotel in a very long time. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here last year and throughly enjoyed it. You can see my previous review. We booked a delux king but when we got there for no apparent reason we were upgraded to a luxury king room. This came with a huge TV, and fireplace and a lovely seating area within a bay window setting. The shower was a decently powered rainshower and we had bottled drinking water, a kettle, and a nespresso machine with pods in the room. Along with teapots and a coffee pot not just mugs. The bed was massive and it was one of the most comfortable nights I’ve had in a hotel setting. Check out was a very reasonable time too. The price was excellent as we had taken advantage of a sale and with the upgrade we were very pleased indeed. We didn’t actually make breakfast because the room was so comfortable.. hot coffee and morning tv in bed. Very relaxed. Will be back. The reception staff there were very polite and very helpful for any needs. Check in/out was smooth.…

We found black hairs in the bath straight away from sone one else (disgusting ) we stayed in an itchy uncomfortable hard bed every morning we woke up we were scratching we stay in Killarney for the last 16 years in many hotels and I would not stay here again it just doesn’t compare to other hotels which is a shame as the breakfast staff and reception staff are lovely and the location is great the meal was disappointing on the last night was the worst got served burnt onion rings ordered prawn pil pil which burnt the mouth off me mind you other local hotels make this meal perfect and we ordered a chicken dish and asked for no balsamic she got the order wrong and couldn’t take responsibility and it was disgusting I said I can taste the balsamic if she paid attention or had better English it would have made such a difference but will not be back so the previous comments on the mattress are wrong had the same issue and randles was also freezing would stay there again either have stayed in both there are many bed and breakfasts that are a good cut above this…

Dear Ciara, Thank you for your recent review following your stay with us here at the Dromhall hotel. Naturally, I was very disappointed to read your feedback about your experience, especially as such commentary is very rare for us to receive. All guest’s comments, reviews and suggestions are very welcome to the Dromhall hotel, both positive and not so positive and this has & will continue to assist us in making improvements to our offerings to guest’s & their enjoyment of the time spent with us. Equally it gives us great confidence and pleasure when our guests have a great time while visiting the Dromhall hotel. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the hair found in the bath when you arrived to the hotel, this is certainly not indicative of the standards we have and always strive for. We have purchased all our mattresses from an Irish supplier based in Limerick and all are memory foam bases and are soft. In addition, we place heavy protectors as well as sheets on top of this mattress, so I am again disappointed and a little confused with your comments ‘’itchy uncomfortable hard bed every morning we woke up we were scratching’’. This we feel is not a reflection of the product in all the hotel bedrooms. Regarding your dinner in Kayne’s on Saturday evening, both our head chef Carolyn and your server Sasha are both again a little taken back by your comments with how you have presented this information. Both team members feel this is not a fair and accurate reflection of the night. I will take on board your views on the prawns pil pil about being too hot and we will look at this, but the nature of this option is that it is hot dish. I feel there may have been confusion with pesto and not balsamic as it has been stressed to me that balsamic, wasn’t placed on the plate as per your request not to. Sasha was the lady that served you on the night and thankfully we are happy with her command and standard of English and also her communication skills, Sasha has been a valued and loyal member of the team here, working for us with over ten years now and we look forward to many more years in the future. Ciara, we are thankful for your custom and our outlook will always be to make our guests in the hotel happy and offer a great experience, clearly you are not happy with aspects of your time here. I was on duty myself all day on your departure day and I would have been very happy to discuss this with you before you departed in person. Always the best way to solve a challenge. I will always promote kindness and fairness throughout the hotel with both guests and staff. As a say I am disappointed you didn't enjoy some aspects of you stay and I will be sure to pass on your favorable feedback to the departments. Hotel was great location Very good value for money . Staff very friendly . Restaurant was lovely and my wife is a Coelic and had a lot of options . Only downside was the mattress was very uncomfortable, now look that could just have been an unlucky room . As everything else was perfect . Pool is very dated . Would still recommend. 6/7 minute walk into centre of Killarney

We loved our stay at the Dromhall. We spent one night here on our Ireland road trip - the free parking and location were a selling point for us. The room and bathroom were spacious, the room was quiet, and we were only a ~10 minute walk from downtown which was perfect!
