I recently stayed a night here with friends. Both rooms were decently sized and the man who checked us in was very nice to us. We were in perfect walking distance from the town centre and Killarney National Park. The breakfast the next day was very nice and the food was cooked to order. Altogether it was the perfect stay... We stayed for two nights in a twin room. Our room (with ensuite) was small and a bit dated but comfortable and fairly central - we decided to take a taxi back/forth from the centre of town. It was quiet at night which was great. There is free parking outside. Staff were attentive, kind and helpful. The lovely breakfast was... More

Stayed here for two nights. It's basically your typical Irish B&B. Rooms were clean and tidy - a few loose fittings and a squeaky door handles, curtain holders, etc, as you'd expect after years of use. Corridor not noisy as such, but you may hear others moving around in the morning. Breakfast was tea/coffee, juice, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast, eggs,... More

We stayed here on the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle weekend as we were doing the cycle. Despite having 5 rooms in the b & b doing this cycle, the owner didn't even show up for breakfast, just left out a loaf of bread, no toaster, no kettle to make tea or coffee and cereal with very little milk so... We were a party of 4 guys who came because of the price and the promise of breakfast. And the manager/owner/cook did a terrific job as our host and guide; he was very open-minded and attentive to our requests and questions and cooked us a simple yet plentiful breakfast (he asked if we wanted seconds, and dished up right before... This was the first B&B we stayed in on our trip around Ireland in Sept, and though it seemed reasonably priced I now realise that after staying in 7 other B&Bs and hotels that I paid the same price for far superior accommodation. The room was old fashioned, with old fashioned covers, the bathroom was fine, the heating was off... More

We stayed in this accomodation simply for the price as we were on a budget, thinking it was great value. however when we arrived in killarney we realised that a lot of the b and b's, even the ones in the heart of the town were the same price, breakfast was an extra seven euro. The owner was extremely rude,... More
