Walked into the Algret a rainy evening after having finished hiking the Kerry way. We were weak, wet, tired and desperately in need of a hot shower....

I stayed here with my two sisters, in one Twin and one Single room. Greta was wonderful, very welcoming with lots of local knowledge, maps & advice. Breakfast was fabulous -- several choices were available but we mostly had the full Irish breakfast, accompanied by homemade scones. We enjoyed our planned two-night stay so much that we made a last-minute...

We arrived earlier than planned and were welcomed by Greta anyway. We soon stashed our luggage and walked to tow to begin exploring. We had everything we needed, Greta was so accommodating and kind. Great breakfasts and clean quiet rooms. She gave us maps to help us locate what we needed and train and bus schedules as well. Highly recommend
