We've been staying at the Grand on-and-off for years, while rebuilding a house in Tralee. It's unique. It has none of the frills of your swanky hotels, just good old-fashioned standards and service. The food is great . It must be if the locals use it during the day to pop in for a coffee and more. Bang in the centre,on Denny... More

My wife and I visited the Grand on Saturday night. They have a formal restaurant but we wanted to watch the rugby so we are in the bar. We ordered two sirloin steaks meals and they were excellent. We visit the Grand on a regular basis and have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

Bang in the middle of Town. 10 Minute walk from the rail station . Grand old place which retains many of the original features . the front bar is a busy place , especially at lunch time as locals enjoy lunch. You need to be hungry as portions are large. Reception efficient and booked us in with a minimum of... More

The hotel is in the centre of Tralee be warned there is no free parking and there are traffic wardens about but if you ask the nice young lady on reception she has a free ticket for the church car park. The hotel as you would expect for a old building in the city centre is a little tired and... More

This is an older style local hotel that has been modernised and upscaled and offers you a great place to stay whilst visiting the Tralee area because of the atmosphere and friendliness of all the staff and the food is absolutely fabulous, fantastic breakfast, probably one of the best to be found in Ireland, great lunches and a standard of... On my first visit to Ireland, my friends and I couldn't have stayed in a better place in Tralee. Dick Boyle and his staff took great care of us and made us feel like we were part of the family. The room was clean and comfortable, pub was filled with good cheer and the food in the restaurant was perfect... More

Wanted to visit this restaurant for some time, we went for the early bird menu. For starter, we had seafood chowder and Turkey and Ham as main meal. The starter was delicious, served with Irish soda bread and crusty bread, ample servings. Unfortunately the turkey and ham was very disappointing, very dry and tasteless with dried out veg on side...
