40 Cyclists from Burren Cycling Club stayed at the Grand on Thursday 30th April on the second leg of our journey cycling the Wild Atlantic Way. The staff and management couldn't have been better, so helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, rooms and attention to detail was just excellent. They ensured that the cyclists arriving very...

A group of us stayed here for two nights last week and the welcome and service we received from start to finish was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the bar meals, refreshments and night caps were excellent. A lovely tradition breakfast was served in a friendly atmosphere and the location of the hotel is central for...

Overall the Grand Hotel Tralee is excellent. Food, accomodation, staff and old world charm are all top class. Good to quality draught ale stout and lager in the bar which is not always the case with hotel bars. Good trad session on Friday and Saturday's music was enjoyable also. The local patrons add to the atmosphere in the bar. Good...

We ate here twice. I had lamb and hake. Both entrees were accompanied with the usual Irish sides-potato, broccoli, carrots, stringbeans. Portions were large. The first night I hadthe best lemon merainque pie since I left NY. Next time we come to Tralee I plan on staying at the hotel. It hs old world charm.

We stayed three nights at the Grand last week, from arrival to departure it was delightful, beautiful furniture in the entrance, log fire in evening, welcoming staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and was kept that way throughout our stay by the housekeeping staff. Breakfasts were superb with great choice and served freshly cooked, loved the scrambled eggs....

We had two delicious toasted sandwiches - before attending a show in " Siamsa"- and they were excellent. We were served by friendly and efficient staff. We returned after the "show" and had a few drinks ( nightcaps) and although the bar was packed, we had the repeated friendliness and efficiency of all the personnel. A really nice experience.

On a busy Good Friday lunchtime, all 9 of us were warmly welcomed and quickly accommodated in the main bar area...and lunch was duly ordered. Fantastically 'meaty' and flavoursome seafood chowder with wheaten bread to die for ; a very tasty sausage roll...and cakes that couldn't be resisted ! Try the lemon tart and feel the 'tang' ! excellent Irish...

The hotel was fine for one nights stay. the room seemed as though it has recently had some redecorating done and it was quite modern I liked the colour scheme. The dinner was good -we had steak&burger, average size portion but just enough for us. Great atmosphere in the bar. good sized Menu. Breakfast was lovely- the full fry up...

We drove into the cute little town of Tralee and decided to spend the night. We stopped by the Tourist Information center for advice. The very helpful gal suggested The Grand Hotel. What a gem! After walking around the town, which has a lovely park, we went back to The Grand for drinks at their pub. Had a fabulous time...
