A fabulous historical house tucked away nicely but well pin pointed on google maps in Tralee. As you drive init gives a feeling of driving into a chateau somewhere in France as the building is magnificent and the warmest welcome by Rory, the proprietor. Our room was on the first floor and as we enter we felt as if we are in bridal suite! Large bedroom, elegantly decorated and perfectly clean. Rory also pointed out to us where to go for dinner which is only few mins walk from the house and on our return, the fire was lighted in the victorian sitting room that has a piano in it. Breakfast was excellent as there is nothing Rory will not provide, he is such an excellent host and very graceful. We called our breakfast 'Breakfast of kings' as everything was laid out with such class. I look forward to going back and sharing this elegant experience again.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Castlemorris. Rory was an excellent host and master baker of bread (breakfast is a real treat) Rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully furnished Clean bathroom, loads of hot water and good shower. Location is excellent, €10 cab for four of us on Saturday night or 20 min stroll .... we don't walk fast with a 5 and 8 year old (!) and ideal for visiting Dingle or Killarney National park Would definitely return ... we all loved the place and we were made to feel so welcome. Highly recommended

We stayed with our three primary school children and we all loved it! The historical charm of the house made us feel like we had walked into a Jane Austen film, yet with all the modern conveniences. We played board games, which were provided, in the evening in a beautiful sitting room with a roaring fire. And the breakfast! Our children were still talking about how good the pancakes were two days later. If you’re going to be in Tralee, do yourself a favour and stay here.

I would highly recommend a stay at Castlemorris B&B if you have any excuse to be in the Tralee area. Rory could not have done more to make my stay carefree and enjoyable- from local directions, flexibility in timings and a beautiful room and breakfast, this overly generous host will ensure you have a fantastic stay! Great location, cleanliness, value for money and craic- thank you so much!

I recently stayed for four nights and was really pleased with Castlemorris House. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower produced instant hot water in serious volume - no waiting for ages for a feeble trickle to warm up! The house is full of character, like staying in a grand country manor, such a change from mundane bungalows. Breakfast was first class with a wide ranging choice of dishes. It is in a very convenient spot, easy to find coming in from Limerick or Killarney. Plenty of parking. Tralee town centre is about a twenty minute walk. Nice town with a large park right in the middle which is nice to find, the locals must love it. Rory was the perfect host. An effortless friendly manner, knows the area inside out and his restaurant recommendations were spot on. Decent value too, hard to beat. If I'm that way again I'll be staying again.
