The owners of the little nine room B&B have just had the property for about a year. While the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom small but clean, the owners don't seem too comfortable running the place. They are certainly extremely kind, but need to have more interaction with the guests. The breakfast was standard fare and...

the accommodation was very comfortable and the owners very friendly and welcoming. The Laurels is convenient 15min walk to town. Breakfast was beautiful. The rooms have all you need and everything was clean and tidy. We were travelling with our elderly parents and they were very comfortable here.

We have had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights. It's an old charming building with a character. The breakfast is hearty and filling. Comfortable, soft beds and quiet rooms provide a good night sleep. 10 min walk to the old town.

The Laurels provides a clean room and generous breakfast all within a short 10 minute walk from the Castle. Best aspect of the stay was the attention the hosts and their daughter gave us to insure a pleasant stay. I would stay here again

We spent a few nights at the Laurels. The room was nice, the bathroom with jacuzzi was okay though it could use a bit of renovation. The landlord and his wife were very kind. They run this B and B since eight months and it was obvious that they were still getting used to it. We thought it a bit...

Easy to find just outside Kilkenny CBD . Located on a roundabout so you need to keep your wits about you when driving. Thought it might have been noisy ,but it wasnt. Easy walk into town & good on site parking at location which wasnt available at many B&Bs in Ireland. Good owners ,good breakfast , we enjoyed it .

We spent only 1 night at the B&B, and it was so nice we wish we could stay more in Kilkenny. We got a warm welcome from the lovely hosts. The rooms were nice and clean, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. On the next day we were happy to find a very rich breakfast which was a...

A family run operation and one of the warmest, comfortable places we have ever stayed. The bed was perfect and the hospitality was above and beyond. Please check this B & B out on a stay in Kilkenny! They were so accommodating with a vegan and vegetarian diet too!

Our hosts were extremely friendly. A comfortable mattress and a hearty breakfast provided a good start to each day. A precipitate came from the spigots of our whirlpool bath, but that is expected in an area of dense limestone formations, so it didn't bother me. I would definitely stay there again the next time I visited Kilkenny. There was a...
