We had a family gathering end Dec. Place is really nice, rooms perfect... cant fault anything expect the sitting areas. Unfortunately there were 2 weddings in the hotel (1 each night) and all the bar area was taken by their guests. There was nowhere to have anything to snack on or a drink. Reception area was cold as the doors...

Visited over Christmas with my husband and son and my husbands family. It was a last minute booking but so overpriced for what we experienced. On arrival we had to wait almost 20 minutes to check. I understand it was busy, but having more than one staff member behind the desk would have helped. We were given our rooms and...

I have stayed in Lyrath on a number of occasions and have always had a great, relaxing visit. Great rooms and facilities and a choice of great places to eat. The Spa and leisure facilities are also first class.

Stayed with my partner in February 2015. We were welcomed warmly by the reception staff and Tom, (the gentleman of a doorman). We were told we had been given a room upgrade as we were with them for 2 nights & we'd be staying in an executive room. This was a welcome bonus as it was my birthday treat. On...

Arrived on Saturday with 3 ladies. This is my 4th visit. We had lunch in the Conservatory which was lovely, than we were booked into the Spa for 3pm, our rooms were not ready. We all enjoyed the Spa & I was very pleased with my mini facial & shellac on my nails. The hydro pool is fab. After the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights last week and had a lovely time. I couldn't fault it per se but it definitely felt more like a 4 star hotel somehow. Perfect for conventions but possibly not a romantic getaway. The beautiful old part of the house that you see in pictures is not open as far as...

We headed to Lyrath for a weekend break, full of anticipation and expecting much due to its lavish reputation. The initial welcome was truly five star with a genuinely warm welcome, the insistence of parking our car and the sharing of the wonderful history of the house as we were escorted to our room. All good so far.....and then the...

Really couldn't find fault with the hotel. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Had dinner in La Perla and it was beautiful. Had dinner sent to our room on Sunday nighty and it was pleasantly hot and fresh (for room service!) and delicious. Room was really comfortable and had all you could ask for. Even when going down fro breakfast...
