This is the most perfect B&B! My husband and I visited Ireland for the first time this May and Newlands Lodge could not have been a better stay. Mairead and Jimmy were wonderful and friendly hosts, the room was spacious and tidy, and we had a full Irish breakfast that tasted lovely! We could not have asked for better!

We stayed two nights at Newlands Lodge and enjoyed it very much. We received a very friendly welcome here and we loved our spacious room. This B&B is a perfect gateway for visits of Killkenny and the surrounding area. We hope to return soon.

John, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of your stay with us at Newlands Lodge, it is lovely to hear such positive comments, we really enjoyed chatting to you and your family. Our cereals now require individual wrappings due to Covid, so we are limited in our offerings presently, but we will be sure and have muesli and hopefully our full breakfast buffet back for your next visit. Take care John and we look forward to welcoming you to Kilkenny again. Mairead .

Second stop on multi city trip to Ireland. Lovely house that only reopened a few weeks prior. Owners are a lovely couple who really go out of their way to not only provide a great facility but also friendly and helpful. Rooms are very large with en suite bathrooms (ours had both a shower and bath tub). We happened to be there during a warm soellsand the lack of air conditioning was a bit rough, and you can only open the windows when it is dark so the night bugs don't come inside the room. Breakfast was a full Irish option and they have tea, coffee and sweets available 24/7 which is a nice option. Short 10 minute drive to the heart of Kilkenny, which has lots to do and can be explored by foot. Parking at this B&B is easy and sufficient. Make sure you confirm, your reservations a few weeks prior directly with the proprietors as they receive bookings from an outside company so you might not receive communications from them depending on your email settings. We would definitely stay here again when back in town. Overall a very pleasant experience and well worth the cost.

We visited this lovely bed and breakfast in early September, 2021. It is perfectly situated and allowed us to tour the area with ease. It's just a short drive to Kilkenny City. The parking at the b&b is terrific. The rooms are well appointed. Everything is clean. The bathrooms have everything you need. The breakfast in the morning is second to none. The proprietors are fabulous people that you will enjoy speaking with if you choose to do so. I recommend this establishment highly. We hope to return to Newlands Lodge during our next visit. It's perfect.
