We booked in for a lengthy stay at the Foynes Inn as we were working at the nearby port. The accommodation is second to none! Our room was modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels were provided every day. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always make you feel welcome and are a credit to the place. We ate there...

We had dinner here. I had the leg of lamb with potatoes and veg. The lamb seemed to have a black pepper crust. I don't like black pepper. The gravy tasted like packet gravy but had a bay leaf added. It wasn't very nice at all. The veg were nicely cooked though and plenty of them. Maybe it was just...

Set in the historic, scenic village of the same name, we stopped at the Foynes Inn for a midday snack. Warm, welcoming , with an impressive menu we settled for a sandwich with side order of Fries and a couple of coffees. The bar manager suggested the 'Toasted Selection' and we were treated to hot Ham, cheese, onion and tomatoe...

My husband Tony Presland stayed at the Inn and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful in the little ways that made the short trip so much easier - printing boarding passes and sorting a car to get him back to Shannon being two examples. The room was well equipped and the food was good and very...

We were visiting family in Listowel and happened across this place for brunch on a morning drive through Foynes. It was fabulous. The daily menu on the naked sounded fantastic and the regular menu is delightful as well. There were 6 of us and we ordered omelettes, a full on Irish breakfast as well as a fish special. The bread...

“OK, some rooms are above a bar. If the bar is busy when checking in or likely to be busy Friday or Saturday nite, you have 3 choices. Join in at the bar and head to bed at last call, request a room to the back or Kathy may be able to accomodate your need for quiet in B&B overflow accomodation at her home across the street. It is very quiet and comfy there.”
