Toilets clean owners were very friendly and helpful. Stayed just one night very good site. The showers let them down! Everything else was excellent. The shop and takeaway food were handy also. (I don't have anything else to say to fill 200 characters TripAdvisor)

Great wee find. Showers could be better but I think I picked the dodgy one. Big area in case it is raining for games. We walked into the next village, we didn't see pubs or shops but maybe we didn't walk far enough. Nice quiet locale even though it was on the main road - single track . The reception sold some items.

Dear Debbie, thank you for your review and 3 stars. You probably walked to Parke where you'll only find a church, but no shops or pub. We are appr. 3km from Ballyvary and from Turlough. Ballyvary has a small supermarket (with a very good meat counter) and 2 pubs, whilst Turlough has a small supermarket and 1 pub. Having said that, none of the pubs are open in the day time anymore. We hope you will visit us again and have the opportunity to explore more of our surrounding area.

Stayed here 1 night on our west coast trip, the campsite is very well kept with good clean facilities and free wifi. The owners were very helpful. All in all one of the best commercial sites we stayed at on our trip

Husband and two kids and four other families all booked in to Carrowkeel Camping and Caravan park for the long weekend. Alex and Rob have a great set up going on. All facilities are clean and showers lovely and hot and free! There is a fabulous games room for kids which is perfect for making friends. A small shop with all essentials, a bar with food available in the evenings all made for a great weekend. Alex and Rob were lovely and went out of their way to please. We would definitely recommend this lovely spacious and well run campsite and hopefully we will be back for a visit soon.

Dear Slingermc, thank you for you kind review. We are very pleased to know that you thoroughly enjoyed your weekend stay with us. We also like to compliment you and all the other parents that weekend for the way the children behaved. We didn't have to call any one of them to order over the entire weekend. We look forward to see you again in the near future.

We stayed here as a family of two adults, four children, aged from 16-8. I cannot recommend it enough. Alex and Rob are so helpful and kind. The site itself is lovely and quiet, kept immaculate. short drive from castlebar, knock or ballina. Lovely little shop with basic supplies and a club house. They serves food from 7-9, Very tasty meals and reasonably priced. Selection of drinks also available Takeaway also available ( listen out for Rob shout" chippies " when order is ready, brilliant 😂) it all adds to the character of a really special place and we are looking forward to going back as soon as possible
