From the moment we arrived the B&B owner Mary made us feel very welcome. Providing coffee and cake, perfect after a long journey! The location is very central, just a 5 minute walk into the town centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. After a good nights sleep, Mary made us a lovely breakfast, all made with local...

Mary is so nice and her B&B is in a really nice location. She made us feel at home and served a very nice breakfast. She also happens to have a very beautiful garden that is worth a visit. Thank you Mary!

Clean comfortable B&B adjacent to the town. Mary cannot do enough for you. Following a very wet day cycling the Western Greenway arrived to complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits/ cake and our clothes dried while we had that - all provided with a smile. Best breakfast around. Thanks Mary.

We were for the second time in Altamont B&B and are still enthusiastic. After our one-day stay in September 2015 we stayed there this time for two nights. Mary is a friendly and welcoming hostess who greeted us on arrival with tea and cake. The room was clean and well equipped (with TV and en suite bathroom). A comfortable lounge...

Mary was very welcoming and a friendly host. We enjoyed a lovely room overlooking her garden. Her full breakfast was great. The B&B is easy walking distance to town and there is laundry sercvice next door. Great place to stay.

A warm welcome set the scene for a very pleasant stay. The Rooms were spotlessly clean and the Breakfast was of a very high quality. Mary is a wonderful hostess and nothing seems too much bother for her. I would not hesitate to return to Altamont as my first choice in Westport.

Easy 2 block walk to all pubs, restaurants, shops. Lovely B&B in a vintage row house. On street parking, no problem. The room and furnishings were perfect, comfortable & cozy, beautiful view of Mary's back garden. OK, this is a great, owner-run B&B. Mary runs the show and does it superbly. She dropped what she was doing (visiting relatives) to...

Mary greeted us with a warm welcome and provided us with a tea and freshly baked scones. Our room was spacious and cosy, and of course the breakfast was wonderful. This is an ideal location within walking distance of town, bus stop and train. Thank you Mary for your kindness

I stayed in this B&B for Westport`s SEA2SUMMIT event this year . I spotted its beautiful , tiny frontage on the way through Westport to the Achill Half Marathon & decided that this was the place to stay when I was next in town. I stayed 3 nights in total at a good price off season – E105.00 . Perfect...
