I stayed here on a Saturday at short notice and was so ecstatic that we found it 3 days earlier. The first surprise was the extraordinary value we encountered. On a date where a room in any given hotel chain was costing 300 euro upwards we were gobsmacked to find this serene and tranquil haven available at the rate we...

Stayed in this lovely B&B for the wedding anniversary weekend with my husband. The room was very spacious with comfortable bed and top noch ensuite. It has all its needed to fully relax. The host was lovely and prepared delicious breakfast for us next morning. Looking forward to going back next year.

This Country House has been beautifully restored over a 3 year period. We were told that the old lady who used to live there answered the door with shot gun! She visits occasionally and is in awe of the work done on the house. A neighbouring farmer bought it and has done tremendous work not only on the house but...

I have traveled for 30 years and this is one of the top overnight experiences I have had in my life. This home is the former dowager residence for old spinsters from the castle nearby. Deborah and her husband saved this building and have restored it to an amazing state of perfection. Our two rooms were fantastic. They were restored...

We spent two days here last week and it was a wonderful experience. From the start Deborah gave us a warm welcome, the introduction to the house was wonderful and our bedroom was magnificent . Set in a great part of the country, "the Slieve Blooms" where we had a full days walking and enjoyed our packed lunch. The full...

Myself and two friends stayed here last night. We were booked somewhere else but they messed up the booking so they sent us here. It was absolutely breathtaking. You drive in a stoned driveway and there is acres of beautiful land surrounding you. Then you are greeted with a huge country house. We knocked on the door and was welcomed...

I stayed here for 2 nights in May and the hospitality was fantastic. The lady of the house was very helpful and welcoming. Full Irish breakfast was delicious (catered to our own liking). A unique country gem hidden away in the midlands, we plan on taking another break at Lissanerin again to cycle Lough Bora as recommended.

Deborah hosted me and my family to get ready for my wedding. We originally looked for a place to stay when our wedding venue double booked. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we had the most wonderful, relaxing time which is just what I needed before the ceremony. This house and the rooms are beautiful, beds...
