Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely stay in Tullamore. Lucy and Louis are very welcoming and we felt at home from the first minute. We were offered tea and pastries and Lucy arranged to book a restaurant for us when we arrived. Rooms are very comfy and spacious. Breakfast are generous and tasty. I wished we stayed more than two nights.

Lucy and Louis were very friendly. It felt more like a visit than a motel stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. I think Louis was the cook and prepared an excellent breakfast. The Tullamore distillery is a must see while there.

Difficult to find. Average accommodation, great breakfast. Small fridge for Tea , coffee water facilities outside the bedroom but the fridge was empty as was the kettle. Ended up trying to find the kitchen in order to replenish my water bottle.

The Littlewood B&B is located near the town of Tullamore. It is a little oasis with hens, goats, a dog and a nice garden. The rooms are convenient and calm. Our bathroom window offered the view to a meadow with sheep. For starters we were offered wonderful coffee in the guest sitting room. The hosts were very nice and gave useful tips for our further route. Generous and diversified breakfast. We hope that we can stay here some time again.

A great hidden gem in Tullamore. If you want a relaxing country stay away from the hustle and bustle of a hotel this is the place to be. Beautiful home with beautiful grounds. Lucy and Louis are delightful and charming. Very accommodating and welcoming. Can not say enough of the delicious breakfast that they served us. Best breakfast during our holiday! Louis has magical touch to his cooking. Would stay again during our next visit.

By far - this was our favorite BnB on our trip to Ireland. Lucy was an incredible host. The house has so much charm and so much to look at. Our room was perfect for my wife and I. Great breakfast, great location and great house. Would highly recommend. We have been on 3 trips to Ireland and Scotland and this BnB ranks at the top!

What an amazing place to stay!!!! Upon arrival to Littlewood, your adventure starts with a very long driveway that is tree covered with lush green leaves and fields on either side...a step into a magical beginning. The gardens at the front of the house were spectacular, and invited you to explore the grounds even further. Our welcome from Lucy at the front door was extremely warm and welcoming. Lucy showed us to the sitting room and served tea and cakes for the 4 of us. What an incredible view the sitting room offers...The farm setting and animals were aesthetic delight. We sat in the window seat in the comfy sitting room surrounded by musical instruments and wonderful books to watch the animals dancing in the field just beyond the gate. After tea we were escorted to our rooms. Absolutely gorgeous views from the rooms we stayed in. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and extremely quiet. The beds hugged us as we slept The en-suites were clean, comfortable and large. The grounds are absolutely stunning! We were also able to par-take in the unloading of a peat delivery. This may not be for all, but for us it was an extreme pleasure to join in and help. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything so incredibly fresh. Lucy and Louie were an absolute delight. They were full of amazing fun and mystical places to visit while we were in the area. Lucy was also a wealth of information for recommendations on where to go for dinner! Thank you for making our family feel so very welcome Lucy & Louie We enjoyed our time with you and hope to be back again.
