A great self catering apartment which has all the amenities you need for a short or long term holiday. Liam and Geraldine are a lovely couple and run a first class b&b we found the private car parking a huge plus and we were within walking distance to the town centre and if you get tired cooking your own breakfast...

This B&B is above what for years was a local bar, McGettigan's, in central Sligo. It includes parking. Most places you would want to visit downtown are within walking distance. The B&B rooms (my adult son and I shared a 2-bed double) are not in wonderful shape, but it's clean and relatively comfortable. The proprietor, Liam McGettigan, is a nice...

I was fortunate enough to stay with Liam and Geraldine for three months, more than 75% of that time being in the B&B's apartment. They're such wonderful people and went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, which I did for that length of a stay. The beds, I slept in...

This is a good solid BnB. it is in a good location, just a short walk to the river, bars and restaurants and the catholic church if you need! Room is adequate with comfortable bed and good ensuite. Breakfast was great and filling. Liam is a good host and gave good recommendations for places to go and bars to visit...

Evidently the name of this B & B means The Full Jug in Irish (Gaelic) ; and I can only assume that this particular jug is full to overflowing because the hospitality which the McGettigan family extended towards myself and my family during our recent visit was absolutely superb. I wouldn't hesitate to advise anyone who is looking for clean,...

This is my second stay at this B & B. The location is wonderful. It close at Sligo Abbey and Yeats Memorial Building. Lots of restaurants and pubs are nearby. Owners of this B & B are so friendly and extremely nice people! There are two types of rooms: en-suit and not. If you are on budget, you can choose...

Irish B&Bs have changed so much through the years; Liam's and Geraldine's is like stepping back in time ( a good time ).its an old building that's been lovingly cared for. Liam grew up there his entire life. The rooms are clean and cozy with tea and coffee and drinks waiting for you ( because you are probably weary from...

although a little bit old fashined it was a good, clean, quiet room with a functional bath. It's just 4-6 minutes walk from the Center of Sligo with all the pubs and Music. Free WiFi, free parking , we got it through recommendation of the local Tourist Office

Hi globalJuergen, Thank you for your wonderful review. The debate is, are we "old fashioned" or are we back in fashion !!!!!!!!! Sure Fashion is like the weather, some like it hot and others like it cold. Take your pick ! Liam.

Enjoyed our stay overall. It's a convenient walk to downtown and the bus station, off a small side street. Breakfast selection was extensive. Room was fairly clean and it was convenient to have a hair dryer and iron in the room. Walls were a bit thin, but guests were respectful.
