Had the most wonderful trip here just before further Covid-19 restrictions were enforced.

As expected the hotel was well equipped with sanitising stations, face masks as well as a thermal access control system at the front entrance - all of which made me feel more at ease during my stay.

The food was unbelievable as usual and with a different menu for each sitting we were spoiled for choice.

The activities and entertainment each day meant that we had plenty to keep ourselves busy and take our minds off the current situation too.

Throughout our stay the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. We were particularly impressed by the house keeping staff - our room was cleaned to such a high standard from start to finish.

I can't recommend Kelly's enough as I'm sure you can tell from my review above but I think it's important to give credit where credit is due especially in these difficult times.

Thanks again and I will definitely be returning for my Kelly's fix in the near future. 😊

I am just back from a short stay in Kelly's and I can't say enough good things. I would give it 6/5 if I could. It really is an experience, not just a hotel stay. The staff can't do enough, and are so friendly. A special shout out to Paul in the dining room who had me in stitches at every meal!! (And Mariane and Rachel who were lovely too). The quality of the food is simply superb.
I notice on two previous comments criticism towards the staff who are not wearing masks, but I think this is unfair. It's hypocritical to demand that all staff wear masks when the guests aren't wearing them, and also when it is not legally required. I felt very safe at all times, there is adequate social distancing and hand washing facilities, which I believe is more important than face masks.
It's great to see a local business back open and bringing jobs and bit of enjoyment and normality back to the village.
I commend the staff for all the changes they have made to ensure that their guests feel safe, but also ensuring an enjoyable stay for everyone.
I look forward to my next trip there and wish them continued success.

I booked a suite (half board B&B package) for 2 nights at this hotel as a surprise for my husband's special birthday.
The receptionist at check in was efficient, informed us about the restaurants, breakfast times, leisure centre, spa rooms and then directed us to the Ivy Room Restaurant where complimentary tea / coffee and delicious scones were being served daily between 3.30-4.30pm.
We were given the beautiful William Crozier suite which was amazing!! The suite is surrounded by a balcony overlooking the sea with numerous comfortable sofas, armchairs to relax on. It has a huge bathroom, bath, shower/steam unit with 2 sinks and was absolutely spotless. While it had a mini bar, I had to request a hospitality tray (tea/coffee) to be provided.
We used the Thermal Suite (over 18's) in the Sea Spa on both evenings and it was very relaxing, well worth the addional €15 pp charge for the hour. We also used the swimming pool and facilities in the Aqua Club in the morning and it was lovely.
We had our delicious evening meals and breakfasts in Beaches Restaurant where there is a wide variety of choices available. We were treated to complimentary champagne to celebrate the big birthday which was appreciated.

All staff were professional and helpful but I would especially like to mention and thank our waiter Calvin who was brilliant. He was friendly, attentive, answering any queries relating to the menu, an absolute young gentleman to deal with.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as a special treat for an occasion. We throughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

After being in lockdown since March with no school, activities or visits to family and friends and trying to work from home we were so ready for a break. I travelled to Kelly’s last week with my 16 year old son who has intellectual disabilities and a love for the Bee Gees.
We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived by all the staff at Kelly’s. Mary greeted us like family at the desk, making much of my son and we were allocated a gorgeous sea view room. My son went immediately to the kids club and was delighted to be with other children participating in a wide range of activities in a safe, socially distanced manner.
We fell into a lovely routine of breakfast together in the Beaches restaurant and then kids club for my son followed by walks on the beach and time relaxing and reading for me. We swam together in the pool every day and there was a disco and movie in kids club before dinner. After dinner there was live music which included a few Bee Gees tunes. I had more time on my own in 3 days in Kelly’s than I have had in the last 6 months.
Staff at the kids club really included James and he had such fun playing Bingo and listening to music. The highlight for me was the prize giving when prizes were handed out for golf, activities etc. My son was awarded teenage ambassador of the week and given a bag of goodies which included a Bee Gees CD. Special thanks to Rachael and Ellen who really understood him.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our break in Kelly’s and we felt so nurtured by everyone.

When restrictions to only travel within your county were implemented, it was the best excuse to staycation down the road.
A wonderful walk on Rosslare Strand; followed by dinner in Beaches Restaurant. The halibut and asparagus was perfectly cooked and delicious. An interesting tasting of Bourgogne whites , same vintage but different chateaux. Daniel who looked after us in the restaurant was first class and very attentive, especially to the elder lemons.
Smoked Duncannon haddock and poached egg was a real treat for breakfast - and again perfectly cooked.
The Covid precautions were adhered, sanitizer in the rooms and on all the tables. once we left a table in the bar it was immediately sanitized. Temp check on entry to hotel when checking . The tables in the restaurant were distanced .
Thank you to all in Kelly for making the night special

Just home from a 3 night family stay in Kelly's. We were a family of 7 adults and 2 kids aged 2 & 4. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids were so sad to leave. Plenty of activities to keep the whole family busy from, archery to clay pigeon shooting to yoga, swimming, crazy golf to walks on the beach. All the staff are exceptional & so friendly. Paul our waiter at dinner was so good with the kids, always made them laugh with his fun & jokes. The kids club staff were so good with the kids and really made them feel at ease. We will most definitely return again and it may even become our annual family destination.

Went down in late November 2019 for my father's 90th birthday. We had a great time, great food, great service, ultra-kind and professional staff and a four day oil painting course with Debra Donnelly, which was really what brought us because my father loves the oil painting. The hotel very kindly always collects its guests from the train at Rosslare Strand Station, and they need to make sure that no nonsense about closing the line is entertained.
Very highly recommended as always

When we visited my wife was recovering from a broken leg . The hotel staff could not have been more helpful . The Reception Staff immediately made arrangements to give us a room on the ground floor and we were allocated a convenient table in the restaurant for our meals .
Everything here is exceptional - the food , the bar and all the amenities. There are few places around offering such a uniquely enjoyable experience .

Oh dear this is not an easy one! There are many pros for Kelly's but also a few cons as well sadly!

Regarding the pros => the food is absolutely excellent - a kitchen team which knows what to do with great local produce; a very efficient and very friendly staff and a great location.

Regarding the cons => a Sea Spa which wants extra money per hour if you haven't had an expensive treatment leaves a bad taste in my mouth; thankfully the "Aqua Club" facilities compensate for that!; although the Hotel is largely in very good condition, the lack of attention to detail lets it down somewhat, e,g. strands of cable hanging down from the roof of the Ivy Room, piles of old paving stones outside the Ivy Room; it took two days to resolve a squeaky bathroom door and badly flushing toilet in our room, but all's well that ends well 👍

P.S. A sign for the Hotel car park might save first time guests having to do a U-turn! 😉

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the location, food and most importantly were well looked after by the team in Kelly's during your recent visit. I appreciate your comments about the Sea Spa, however we have always charged an additional supplement for this area because we believe it is important to limit the number of people inside at any one time, to ensure that it remains a relaxing experience all. We do however keep our Aqua Club area open from 8am-8pm daily, so guests can go there at any time to enjoy the pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, hot tube etc in this location. Thank you for your feedback on the Ivy Room, I agree with you. We actually had to undertake some essential maintenance of our mezzanine balcony this month, which meant removing the stones and wires. This lasted for a week, and I am sorry that is happened while you were here. We usually try our best to keep all building works to the winter months when we are closed, but unfortunately it was unavoidable on this occasion. My sincere apologies about the problem with your bathroom, I appreciate that problems may arise but it should have been fixed on day one. I will certainly follow up on this matter, thank you for your understand. We hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. With good wishes, Laura Kelly
