We had a fantastic stay at Faythe Guesthouse. Damian and Siobhan were so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area – they were really helpful when we were planning our itinerary. Breakfast was delicious (with a lovely vegetarian option!) and the room was cool, spacious and quiet. Social distancing is adhered to, staff wear masks and there are hand-sanitising points everywhere, so we felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Best B&B in Wexford, have stayed here both of my trips to Ireland and will stay here my next trip.

The innkeepers go the extra mile for their guests to make there stay enjoyable .

A menu is offered to order your breakfast and offer a big Irish Breakfast with fresh baked goods and fresh fruits.

The location is very close to in town Wexford allowing you to walk an avoid hiring a taxi.

The cost is very reasonable compared to other Wexford B&Bs

Highly Recommend.

We have just spent three nights in this fantastic guest house. We had a large double room with a view of the sea. It had a large bed and two large armchairs plus a table. The bathroom was also spacious. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming. There were lots of sanitising stations all over the hotel which made you feel very secure and there were also lots of notices reminding you to sanitise. The hotel was very clean and bright and airy. Now to the breakfast. What can I say. It was the best breakfast ever. Cooked to order and in addition Damian bakes his own bread and fruit cake. It is within easy walking to the main shopping street and numerous restaurants. We cannot fault the place and would highly recommend it.

I spent a night at this guest house in early September.
Experiences very often reflect expectations and consequently I was a little disappointed.
On the plus side the location is perfect, ample parking, service is personal and personable.
The house is spotlessly clean but it is a rather old building and both it and the rooms look and feel somewhat tired and dated.
The rooms have an ironing board, coffee and tea making facilities but are relatively smallish with basic toiletries and toweling.
The breakfast so often mentioned in reviews is “The Full Monty” with a constant refrain of “is everything ok would you like more of anything”. The quality of the ingredient’s, eggs, back bacon, sausages etc are good except for the toast which was plain white sliced pan. Yes it is a good Irish breakfast but from the reviews I was expecting more.
So trying to be fair what to say ? ,
it’s a good 3 star BNB , great location and parking, friendly service, basic rooms, good breakfast but in my humble opinion significantly overpriced.

Timr294 Many thanks for review, Our breakfast is normally our strong point with 14 different fresh fruit options and 20 dried fruits along with cheese quiches smoked salmon cheese meats 3 homemade breads orange juice toast etc and a long extensive cooked menu but are very aware we can improve let us know what you would like to see different and we will provide this on your next visit. As regards to dated and over priced we have increased our prices this year in order to refurbish but booking by phone or email is significantly cheaper and better value for money Damian and Siobhán

This was my second time staying at Faythe Guesthouse with my family, absolutely faultless.
The guesthouse and bedrooms are Spotless clean rooms with all COVID 19 precautions in place, we felt so safe.
The owners Siobhán and Damian clearly take pride in their work, with their positive & chatty personalities they create a comfortable environment for all.
The breakfast each morning was delicious, tailored to our liking with tea & coffee and bread replenished throughout.
The guesthouse grounds are beautiful with so many options to chill and enjoy the nature. Loved our stay, excellent value for money and we cant wait to return again and again! Thanks guys, stay safe!

Damian and Siobhan were absolutely lovely during our 10 day stay - so much so, that, coming back to grotty England I felt rather lost. Breakfasts were legendary and they made sure you were nice and full up (which was a Godsend whilst being on a budget as we only really needed to worry about dinner) and houskeeping went the extra mile. I was shocked that they are not regarded as five star as I have stayed in Travel Lodge Hotels in England and they are nowhere near at the standard that Damian and Siobhan are working at.

The rooms are lovely and come with TV's with loads of channels, plenty of drawers and a wardrobe, iron and ironing board and at least a shower if not a bath and a shower and plenty of towells. Damian and Siohhan were also generous with tea and coffee in our rooms. If you smoke or vape, there is also a heated and sheltered patio area too.

We had two very minor issues which we mentioned and Damian and Siobhan were extremely quick to sort these out with exceptional grace. To me that's the true measure of a great guesthouse. If you are staying, please do also check out the Swan pub across the road for drinks - they are lovely too!

Thanks for a lovely base, we fell in love with Wexford and will definitely be moving across if the opportunity arises, you made it possible for us to get a real feel for the town and I immediately missed you both and I wish you all the very best in what will undoubtedly be a challenging economy over the winter :-)

This is a small guesthouse in the heart of Wexford. It has a free car park at the rear. From this location the popular town can be visited on foot together with a visit to the shops. This is an older building and after being shown to our room we were allowed to relax. A shower in the room provided ample privacy. The breakfast was enjoyable with fruit followed by a freshly cooked breakfast. The host spoke to us and told us of the local sites. He was very pleasant and although busy he had the time to come into the car park and speak to us. I loved this piece of old Ireland.

The Faythe is in an old house near the town centre. There is ample free parking at the rear. Each room is unique and mine had a bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. The room was very comfortable with tea making facilities. There was a TV and Wi-Fi which was average (on occasion it would say no Wi-Fi).

The breakfast is exceptional. Home made carrot cake, banana bread, tea brack and soda bread. Lots of choice of cereals, juice, fruit etc. A menu which includes kippers (very good) and fresh fish and full Irish (in two sizes). Service is excellent.

There is a library for guests which includes books to borrow as well as lots to interest the tourist. Special arrangements are made for those catching the 0845h ferry but, for everyone else, breakfast starts at 0800h.

Easy walk into town to stroll the quays, try the restaurants and pubs or just see what Wexford has to offer.

Our hosts Damian and Siobhain were friendly, efficient and helpful and went the extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed out stay (we were given an Easter egg on Easter Sunday and were always offered bottles of water to take with us when we were going out). Our recently refurbished room was light and airy and scrupulously clean, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb, with a wide range of cereals, fruit, nuts and seeds, as well as home-made fruit, soda and banana bread. The cooked breakfasts were excellent, particularly the full Irish, which was cooked to perfection.
There was ample parking behind the main house, fringed by the ruins of the ancient city walls, and the location was perfect, close to the waterfront and a short walk from the city centre.
