A good B&B located on the outskirts of Arklow. Rates were ok. The host is a very nice man who serves a good breakfast and does his best to provide you with as much local knowledge to enhance your stay. He allowed us to do some laudry using his machines. We found it near impossible to find a laudromat in... More

I stayed here recently for two nights and it had everything I needed. A very comfy B&B, not grand by any means but clean and suited to purpose- though room 4 could do with a refresh and a lick of paint. It is also close to one of the local hotels and a shortish walking distance to the town itself.... More

We enjoyed chatting with our host Pat, a local guitar teacher, and well-informed tour guide. The rooms are bright and quirky, with a nice garden area out back for nice weather. Pat made us feel right at home and had water, tea and kettle ready at all hours. He helped us plot a personalized tour through the Wicklow Mountains to... More

On arrival we knew that our overnight stay at this b&b would be different because we interrupted a guitar lesson that owner Pat was giving to one of his many students. We chose this b&b because it looked so nice in the Internet pics, in addition to being located within a bustling seaside town. And we were not disappointed. Following... More

we stayed 4 nights in this B&B and it was wonderful. Pat is one of the best owner, very friendly and we had funny nights in his garden with music. He gave us wonderfull tips to go around. Arklow is a beautiful town with nice pubs, we enjoyed it very much.

Certainly not the best B and B in the world, we found our room to be cold and damp, the breakfast was fine, but otherwise would not return. The room we stayed in could certainly do with some updating and attention to detail.

Thanks to Pad! He runs a nice B&B, which is an excellent startpoint for Sightseeing in Wicklow County. He is an excellent travelguide. He gave me tipps for Wicklow and for my whole trip in Ireland. By the way, the breakfast was excellent and I felt at home in my room. A nice place!!! Thanks to Isabell! She knows why!

Currently enjoying a return visit. Hosts provide a lovely warm welcome without being 'in your face' - perfect! Located on Arklow's Sea Road, Orchard is near the sea and near town but quiet as it's away from the busiest roads. I think this b & b has to be the cleanest accommodation I have stayed in anywhere - they clearly... More
