Susanne is the most amazing host - she really puts her heart and soul into making sure her guests are comfortable. Susanne gave me some good advice in advance via email to help me plan my daily bike trips, and then other tips came up in conversation over breakfast, such as the old high road to Conwy being the way to go. Breakfast was always served on time of my choosing, with my poached eggs always perfectly cooked.

Susanne's home is a traditional Victorian terraced house, beautifully decorated, with some artistic touches in the nautical themes for each room. All the basics were done well, comfortable bed, loads of towels, an elegant bathroom. Everything is perfectly neat and clean.

I would stay here again. I liked coming back to the peace of Penmaenmawr after the experiencing the bustle of Conwy or Llandudno during the day, although both those are amazing towns to have near-at-hand for the historic and natural attractions, with loads of cafe and restaurant options.

I enjoyed the run of the breakfast room in the evening to rustle up a light meal using the toaster and some things I stashed in the mini fridge in my room. The village Spar is only a few hundred yards away, and is the best convenience store I've seen with loads of fresh produce, bread and pastries from local bakeries and more.

Personally, if you have your own transport and don't need accessible accommodation, I think Penmaenmawr B&B is the way to go.

Also, if you wanted to spoil someone with a weekend treat away, the personalised touch of Susanne's hospitality and the elegance of her home would hit the spot for a lot of people.

This B&B is connviently located close to the railway station, with easy access to the mountains, sea and to other towns with a frequent bus service.

The B&B is very clean, well maintained and run. The room I stayed in had everything I needed for my stay - the bed was really comfortable and such a beautiful view from the window. The bathroom is separate and spacious enough.

The owner, Susanne, provides a friendly welcome and gave excellent tips on places to visit, shops to go to, both in the local area and in the towns nearby.. She also provides a really nice breakfast.

I had a wonderful time in North Wales and would definitely stay in this B&B again.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely, dog friendly BNB. We felt very welcome and were right at home immediately!
Our room was bright, cheerful and very comfortable indeed, little extra touches like homemade biscuits (yummy!) a little fridge and even a goodie bag for our dog Barney went that little bit further than your average BNB. Although the bathroom is across the hall way this was actually a bonus as we had the floor to ourselves and the bathroom was really lovely and spacious.
There is a great breakfast menu and we enjoyed everything on it and it was excellent for vegetarians - the bowls of fruit salad and home made cake were really good too !
Plenty of reading material and Susanne is very knowledgable about the local area, very helpful and attentive but in no way obtrusive - we felt completely at home !
Highly recommend this lovely BNB in an area that has so much to see and do ! Would definitely return !

This B & B is very pleasant, clean and friendly. The room was a little on the small side, but totally comfortable and suited our stay which did not revolve around being in our room except in the evening. The breakfast menu was excellent, with interesting and less conventional choices as well as those which are generally popular. The food was well presented and prepared and the coffee was good. The owner was helpful, responsive and friendly and fully compliant with all necessary hygiene procedures. We enjoyed our stay.

This B&B is a little gem. Can’t recommend it highly enough, as not had experience of B&B’s at all so a little dubious. However everything about this B&B was absolutely excellent, our host Suzanne, was so friendly and so accommodating with breakfast in particular as I only eat plant-based foods. She made me a lovely piece of toast with red pepper hummus topped with warm minted peas - gorgeous. That was after homemade compote and nuts on muesli, and there was even gorgeous homemade cake afterwards too, not vegan but that’s fine with me if I’m out and there isn’t an alternative - I won’t eat animal but occasionally their byproducts (eggs hidden etc) if no alternative.
The whole B&B is beautifully appointed in a modern clean way and so comfortable with everything one needs, without being cluttered. All food, toiletries etc. sourced in Wales. Along with wonderful views. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. And the homemade biscuits are gorgeous!
I actually have only just seen the website and Suzanne’s story (after arriving back at home) and love that she is living her dream now and wish her every success and happiness with it. Thank you

Throughly enjoyed our short stay at Penmaenmawr Bed & Breakfast, we stayed in the Anchor room which is on the top floor of the property, lovely, clean room and bathroom, great Breakfast and also little extra dishes Susanne presented were excellent.

Susanne is a great host and was super helpful when we had a problem with our vehicle.

Situated very close to beach, and well situated for travelling around the area to Anglesey, Conway, llandudno etc

Highly Recommended

We had a great time at Penmaenmawr B&B. The rooms are very welcoming and beautifully decorated, the breakfast choices are delicious and Susanne is very friendly and helpful. We and our dog loved it there and felt at home right away. In fact our dog loved Susanne so much that she missed all the cuddles once we left. We stayed in the rooms on the top floor and from the "Anchor" we had the best view on the ocean. The location of the B&B is also great. There is a lot to see, experience and enjoy without having to drive around too much. We will definitely come back.
