Return visit after the first time last year just after #Lockdown1 Once again the food was superb and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Both visits I had the dog with me who received lots of fusses and treats. I sat outside in the beer garden this time for a nice cold cider and bought some bits from the deli. The homemade black pudding scotch eggs are quite possibly the best I’ve ever had..!! This is a cracking pub serving great food and I’d recommend to anyone

This is a great village pub which has a large dining area, a huge beer garden and plenty of parking. The staff are friendly, welcoming and highly efficient. There is an extensive menu which ranges from the ordinary through to lobster and a plateau de fruits de mer plus a daily menu. A well stocked bar including quality bitter provides liquid refreshment. This was my second visit and I know I will find excuses to pop over from Cardiff, a great pub.

Had a meal here yesterday both the food and staff were brilliant, working under the current restrictions the staff have a difficult job but they did it really well and the food is outstanding. Will definitely be going here again. Keep up the good work.

We visited on a Sunday and had the fabulous roast dinner. They had a great veggie option for me too. The meringue dessert was to die for and portion sizes are huge. The staff were all super friendly and helpful too. Will be back!
