Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Myself and my husband stayed for a break from our children. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff. Our room was clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the breakfast the next morning, well we were spoilt for choice. We wanted extra tea and sugar and the manager herself brought it to our room which we thought was very nice of her. I think her name was Sam, long dark hair? She was very friendly and asked us if we needed anything else. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we'll definitely be paying another visit soon

Having checked in and settled, I went to the adjoining pub/restaurant and had an evening meal along with a large number of friends (as this was a social gathering). I became decidely ill later on, culminating in throwing up blood. After a visit to the local A&E they advised me to rest, and i wanted to do this at home in case I got worse. I explained this to reception and asked if I would be able to get a refund, and if not, i would give one of my friends (who was sharing a room) my room to use, Reception said to contact customer services and they WOULD refund my last nights stay. With this in mind, I checked out and returned home - this was a Saturday morning. On Monday I managed to get through to the Premier Inn Customer Services team who cared not a jot that I had been throwing up blood and had visited the Peterborough A&E department. They would not, under any circumstances, refund the lost room regardless of what the reception team at Peterborough north had said. So, Premier Inn has lied to me costing me a nights stay - they care NOTHING about their guests, and only care about getting money regardless of impact. In future, myself and my group will find other establishments to frequent rather than Premier Inn, as their word cannot be trusted.

We stayed here 1 week ago, ready to get up for a family funeral the next day.,coming all the way from Epsom. The room was lovely, we didn’t arrive until 9.15pm due to a long journey and a blow out tyre on the motorway! The manager on duty James was very attentive and kind. We unloaded to the room and explained what had happened and straight over to the pub to relax and have a drink before turning in. Within 20 mins James appeared in the pub with a printed off sheet with directions and phone number to the nearest tyre place,Appex a family fun business . He really did go above and beyond. We had a fab nights sleep in room 126 huge bed for us so comfy no noise and a lovely single bed in the room for our daughter. Breakfast next morning was fab to ,full English and pastry’s,Would deffo stay here again, and Thankyou James for being so kind.

I accept the price might have been deemed budget friendly but a few things rattled me. The bathroom fan was ridiculously loud so much so I had to turn the light off to be able to bathe in peace. The thermostat in the room did not work as per the instructions which left the room cold, there was only additional pillows but no blankets to be warmer. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. The plug sockets were on the other side of the room from the bed so inconvenient to use my laptop. It was not a comfortable stay and I will not choose to stay at this site again.

Absolutely perfect we arrived early my wife forgetting we had to call in advance for an early check in (menopause apparently) Beverly the manager couldn’t do enough our room was ready so we where able to pay the fee then my wife had forgot her outfit for the party that night (another menopause moment) so while I drove back to get her outfit Beverly offered my wife a glass off baileys and was able to sit in the room and relax with her glass off baileys. The room was spotless including the bathroom, linen and towels where fresh and immaculate, plenty off plug sockets around tea/coffee facilities and tv more than value for the money and the greeting Beverly gave us with her hospitality was second to none.

Easy to find, ample parking, clean and fresh room, helpful staff. Pub very close by with good selection of drinks. Vending machine in the lobby was very pricey but to be expected. Thermostat in room not easy to work but we just used the storage heater. Overall a great stay for the price

Love this Premier Inn. I live local but come here for a break from caring and stress in my life. Lovely staff. Clean rooms and lots of extra little extras. Relaxing atmosphere, comfy beds and a bath for long soaks as we only have a shower at home.

bathroom was mouldy, smelled of damp and urine. Extractor fan was not working. 1 of the disabled grab rails did not work - was jammed in upright postion, toilet was not cleaned either. was very noisy too with doors slamming and noise upstairs. worse stay ever. we compliained to the front desk and emailed pictures to the manager. You should have cleaned the rooms and bathrooms after last guest had checked out. And made sure fittings were not broken or jammed. make sure place is clean!
