Have stayed at several lodges and Elton Furze Lodges is our new favourite. Amazing accommodation, every small detail thought of. Location and hot tub fantastic, not forgetting the golf club house with has the friendliest staff and great food at great prices. Stamford only 15 minute drive away, and great variety of shops, we visited on a Saturday and there was a great market. We arrived 27th Nov, and lovely Christmas tree and ornaments in lodge, we enjoyed our break so mush we were luckily able to extend. Communication from hosts second to none from start to finish, espepecially Fee and Lisa, overall fantastic break and already looking to book again.

We are just back from our second visit to this wonderful, peaceful retreat, this time to Foxy Lodge (3) Lovely accommodation, setting, and lovely people. Booked direct we got a £25 voucher for the bar/restaurant. Sitting in the hot tub watching the Squirrels, Hares and assorted bird life is something special. Booked again for next year.

Had an amazing time at Elton Furze Retreats. So quiet and relaxing surrounded by woodland watching the squirrels, hares and red kites. Well positioned hot tub and never felt overlooked and great you could go straight into the bathroom from the decking. We stayed in Furze which had lovely rooms and bathroom and kitchen well equipped. Nice to have a lamp in the lounge not just overhead lights. Chilled bottle of prosecco on arrival. Had breakfast at the golf club and was great. Some lovely circular walks within a short drive and some lovely pubs. Also great chinese takeaway delivered to the lodges. Would definitely go back.

We had the most relaxing break away for our 5th anniversary. The resort is set in such a peaceful, relaxing environment, surrounded by some amazing wildlife - squirrels, hares, foxes, deer and lots if different birds. We could even hear an owl 'hooting' in the distance some evenings! The 'Furze' lodge was set furthest back of the 3 lodges, so I felt it was most private. The lodge itself is finished to such a high standard, it felt super clean and luxurious. The kitchen was well equipt, with almost everything you'd need to see you through your stay. The prosecco and chocolates were a lovely added touch! We went to a local supermarket in the afternoon before check in, so we could make the most of our time! They are happy if you have shopping delivered, and even recommend some local takeaways - however we opted to cook for ourselves. The lodge is all open plan with large windows and doors all around, giving some amazing views! The bedroom had a lovely little dressing room, complete with a hairdryer and bathrobes - which was a nice touch. The bed itself was very comfortable! The bathroom was absolutely amazing, a massive freestanding bath and walk in shower with a waterfall effect. The bathroom gave easy access to the decking area with hot tub, very handy! It meant we could easily hop straight in the shower after each dip! The hot tub was lovely and warm, and well maintained throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elton Furze. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and will definitely be returning in the future!…

I have stayed in many lodges in the UK, but our stay here (Foxy Lodge) has been our favourite by far. The lodge was finished to a really high standard with lots of little extras that made it even more perfect, for example the design of the lodge meant that both bathrooms had an external door out to the hot tub so you didn't have to walk through the lodge when wet! Personal touch of chocolate and prosecco waiting for us in the lodge, and tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper provided which is not always standard. The surrounding area was so peaceful. We spent most afternoons on the decking watching the wildlife and the layout of the three lodges meant that whichever you were in, you had complete privacy as the decking for each one was facing away from all other lodges. I could not fault this stay and am already looking forward to booking another stay there.…

We’ve had a wonderful stay. The lodge was so well thought out, fully equipped with everything you need for a break. The doors in the en-suite out to the decking & hot tub was a super nice touch, meant we weren’t walking through the Lodge soaking wet. The hot tub was immaculate and perfect to sit outside and relax in. The location is so calm and peaceful. Lots to do in the local area too, pretty little towns to potter around. Nothing bad to say about it we had the best time. Well worth it! Defo would come again. ❤️

Excellent from start to finish. Superb communication. Easy friendly check in. We stayed in Foxy. Exceptional cleanliness throughout. Open plan modern kitchen diner lounge. Well thought out. Fridge freezer dishwasher oven microwave and nespresso coffee machine. Two beautiful double bedrooms. Smart TV on wall. En suite with walk in shower. Also access onto decking area and hot tub which is well thought out. Peaceful and tranquil. Quality outdoor furniture to sit and watch the hares and squirrels go about their daily business. Found it completely relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We have just spent the most relaxing week in Furze lodge with great facilities in great surroundings. The lodge is stunning, immaculate and comfortable. No ‘holiday-bed’ problem here, as it is so comfy. Bathroom is large and amazing, leading out to the hot tub part of the large decking area. Never been a fan of hot tubs before, but this was so clean! They are not lying when they tell you it is checked so often, even in the pouring rain! I’m converted. Everything is there if you want to cook for yourself and there’s even a smart tv if you want a bit of telly on an evening. Excellent communication before and afterwards. Perhaps the club could get a couple of second hand sets of clubs to hire out, in which case I would have had a game, but you don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy this. I cannot speak highly enough if this gem of a holiday spot. Luxury cabins in the most beautiful woodland surroundings with hares, squirrels and even a bird of prey around the cabin. We stopped in Florence (2) and it is simply beautiful with a massive bed, great bathroom and wonderful open plan kitchen / living area. So peaceful and quiet and you have the added bonus of the hot tub on the ample decking area for a relaxed evening. We had great weather and you would think you were in the south of France rather than a stones throw from Peterborough! We will definitely be back again and you should not hesitate to book this place….and if you like golf, well, get it booked, pack your clubs and get in the car now….what are you waiting for!
