Staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem. The room which was a free upgrade was a bonus as my partner is disabled. Shower was def a power shower. We were in room 14. Not a huge choice on the menu, and chips were very sparse, food was nice though. They have spa treatments. Book in advance. Plenty of carparking spaces....

Attentive, friendly & helpful staff. Clean, warm rooms with great shower and comfortable bed. Varied and accomplished restaurant menu. Excellent breakfast. Well-kept Real Ale. Great value too! There is also the availability of spa treatments and a floatation facility. We have stayed here several times now and have had a thoroughly enjoyable experience every time!

The Queensgate offers great value for the price, the rooms are clean and simply furnished but with an iron, drinks facilities and good heating, (temp was -5 oC one night). The staff are the standout feature with perhaps a higher degree of friendliness and cheerfulness over competence, especially in the restaurant, where there was some confusion between red and rose...

Stayed here for just the one night as we were attending a family gathering at the "Posh" football ground function room. Location - 5 minute walk to the ground. I would guess another 10 minutes to the shopping area and Cathedral. Car park - Busy but we did get parked. (Some annoyance as a motorbike has took up a car...

We were due to check in after 2pm, and arrived 15 minutes early, which was pointed out quite haughtily by the receptionist (who had taken several minutes to attend us at the desk) we repaired to the restaurant for a cup of tea to wait, there were 2 men sat at tables on laptops, we assumed they were guests, wrong!...

I made a long stay (4 weeks) reservation to stay in the Queensgate during November. I was not disappointed. The hotel is located a useful 100 metres from the busy A15. Useful because it is conveniently close for the journey there to be simple, yet far enough away to avoid the traffic noise. It is located on Fletton Avenue which...

Visited this Hotel for family weekend. Despite the fact that Hotel urgently needs a refurbishment program the staff were very friendly and obliging and the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size, well heated and plenty of storage space, which more than made up for it. Breakfast was very good too which after a not to good evening meal in...

Visited this lovely hotel recently and spent 3 nights. I would recommend it highly. It is on a bus route into town but if you are feeling energetic you could walk. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a very good restaurant so there is no need to go out for dinner. The staff are very friendly and...

Just home from a Friday night away :) Booked The Ruby Suit (room 30) as I do love a Jacuzzi lol Was well worth the £95 and when you add up all the extras the room rate is in fact a real deal. We had white fluffy towels and heaps of hot water. Also the room was clean, fresh and...

Stayed for 3 nights... staff are friendly, attentive and professional.. breakfast was disappointing and so was the steak that I had. Parking can be difficult if the hotel is busy. The showerhead in my room was cracked and the toilet seat did not stay up and when I arrived in the room the toilet rolls were half used with a...
