Clean, tidy, basic but what more do you need for a one night stay when travelling? If I paid 4 times more to be at a more "up market" hotel I would have been too knackered to use the gym and I would never have paid the price required for a massage or beauty treatment. So what would be the...

Very dated needs updating bathroom not pleasing on the eye .Had been using premier inn, but after adverts on tv thought I give Travelodge a go,just think we was unlucky on one we picked. Children's faces said it all when we arrived , had to leave to find food . Parking a problem

Room was ok, smelt a little stagnant upon entering and the shower curtain was stained and very light, which made for an unpleasant showering experience. The soap dispenser on the sink was also empty. The tea/coffee facilities were very limited. The reception team were lacking professionalism when we arrived back from our evening out- but we're friendly enough. Bed linen...

Lovely reception staff, nice enough hotel. No way of leaving without a car or taxi and taxi won't come out for less than £10. Lovely pub/restaurant around the corner, the cuckoo, but don't try walking back as you're literally on the A1

Shallow baths, shower head was at chest height and many times without hot water. Worst thing, It appeared there was a regular costumer who smoked in his room so the whole corridor stank of stale smoke. Half the rooms are facing the A1 so terrible road noise. And the little chef next door was also home to a terrible breakfast.

Okay so apart from the road noise and the fact that it is on the busy A1, It's not too bad. You can book early and get a reasonable deal. The rooms are warm and clean. It is in the middle of nowhere and yes you need to be travelling South on the A1 to access. Service was friendly and...

One night stay after seeing Billy Connolly at the nearby Arena. Takes 10 minutes to drive (probably half a mile as the crow flies but navigating the dual carriageway takes more time! Clean, comfortable, rooms at the back away from the road are incredibly quiet and you can actually see the arena from your window across the field of sheep....

Very conveniently located for my trip, very clean and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great value for money, would recommend to anyone. I would recommend rooms to the rear due to traffic noise and quite a nice view to rear overlooking fields.

Never stayed at any Travelodge before so didn't have any previous experience by which to measure it. The room was really spacious, clean and well presented, the bathroom was well lit, the bed was really comfortable but unfortunately as the A1 is only a few feet away I didn't have the greatest night's sleep, not their fault but as there...

Really noisy location right next to main A road which remains busy throughout the night. Closed windows barely helped reduce the noise. Bathroom was filthy, hairs in sink and bath, blood in loo and sticky patches across floor and tiles. Also sticky patches on tea making surface in main room. Bathroom also shabby and old fittings and the room smelled...
