When we arrived to the cottage we were shocked at the size of the property. It looked dated and shabby. Ie a light fitting had been changed over the small dining table. Previous holes were on show and it hadn't been touched up with paint. The dining table was badly scratched and the rug in the living area was badly...

We stayed in Maple cottage with our 2 Labradors. The cottage was very dated and in need of decorating and a good clean. On our first day we had gone in to Harrogate for a short period of time, leaving our dogs at the cottage. On our return, we were met by an arrogant man (believed to be the owner...

This is the second time we have stayed at Brimham Rocks Cottages; once in 'Willow' cottage and most recently in 'Lilac' cottage. We have had our infant son and our Labradoodle Dog with us on both occasions. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the pool and hot tub facilities are nothing short of fantastic and so well maintained. David and...

We've just returned from visiting with our two dogs. A lovely place ran by friendly people. Our cottage was perfect for what we needed, the hot tube was always welcome at the end of a days walking and the location is perfect for many days out. Highly recommended and we'll hopefully be visiting again soon.

Owners friendly. Small dog walking area. Games room used daily too and enjoyed. Negatives the cottage was in need of the paint in...

Dave & Judith Beswick just couldn't do enough to help us have a great time in their complex of lovely cottages. We had a hot tub, all mod-cons, access to a swimming pool, a superb pub nearby (Half Moon Inn), spectacular views, plenty to do & go to

Arrived 20th June booked 2 cottages one large one small. Elizabeth's birthday was the following day and she had a wonderful time at the cottages. We had lunch for 17(8 grandchildren 3 to 24) at a pub nearby which incidentally is out of range for disabled people walking. We then had a fabulous bbq at the cottages bbq site with...

On first appearance Rowan Cottage seems a bit basic but actually it turned out to be quite comfortable and a good base to view the Dales from. Staff were very helpful. Disability access was sufficient. I will always have fond memories of my time there.

My boyfriend and I spent the bank holiday weekend in Willow Cottage and had a brilliant time. We did the holiday planning 'the wrong way round' and just looked for cottages with hot tubs instead of the location and found that Brimham Rocks Cottages were much better value than any of the others we found, and they just so happened...

“Cedar cottage bedroom is large, light and airy. A cottage is a cottage not a mansion! If your expecting 5* go to a hotel instead!”

“For those with a young and active toddler, (but still in a travel cot), Willow cottage would not, in our opinion, be the best choice as there is a very beautiful, but very steep spiral staircase. Was fine for the first time we went with a babe in arms, but not so good now the 'little monkey' is mobile!”
