Comfort food after a walk round Brimham Rocks . Two of my kids chose the lasagna which we all tried and enjoyed . The rest of us tried the kebabs which we all enjoyed . Nice staff and a nice lace to eat .

A really nice friendly inn. Made to feel really welcome by staff and the locals. Owners were super polite and helpful, even saving the day by letting us borrow item we had forgot to pack! Set in a lovely quiet village about 15 mins drive from Harrogate where our business meeting was. Scenic views. Very clean. Unfortunately didn't get to... More

Great food and a lovely old fashioned pub style inn. Ideal for pub grub meals and a drink. The views from the pub are lovely also. Staff were polite and friendly and there was a good selection of food of the menu. Can't fault this place at all really.

Had a lovely 2 day stay at the Royal Oak. We were greeted with a pleasant welcome and taken to a lovely spacious room with beautiful views. In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast in a delightful breakfast room. The sausages were amazing! The inn has a good selection of cask ales, the Viking was very tasty!... More

Friendly owners, beautiful spacious room with character, fabulous view from bathroom, good food, good beers and best night's sleep in months. Breakfast was enormous and delicious. Really no more to say- 200 characters? Arbitrary. Why? Done it!

Booked through Booking.com - unfortunately went to Pateley Bridge first as that was the address given on the site - it is in fact at Dacre Bank. Lovely place; very quiet. The pub is really nice; typical old fashined pub how they used to be - very welcoming. Just three rooms. Our room was at the back - great view... More
