We booked 4 nights at Central House Farm and extended it to 5. Jayne is a lovely and thoughtful host. The room was a good size, bed very sleep-inducing, views over the valley, very clean, workable bathroom, generous and sustaining breakfast with good choices (we loved the porridge and the smoked salmon Omelette). Some good pubs nearby. Highly recommended.

Room was perfect, cosy, comfortable yet still spacious. Surroundings were beautiful, scenery was atmospheric (it was misty) Breakfast was fabulous, cooked breakfast was lovely, big bowls of porridge and cereals, fruit, yogurts & toast all available. Was lovely & quiet, nothing to disturb you, not even as a working farm. Would whole heartedly recommend & will be returning for another...

This is a lovely old farmhouse B&B ten minutes drive from Harrogate centre. The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and very clean. The living room has a lovely open fire which was really cosy when we arrived. The owner Jayne is very welcoming and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

We stayed one night and chose it because it was half way between Ayrshire and our home in Norfolk and we love farms. Jayne was very welcoming, and friendly throughout. Room was better than any hotel room and beautifully decorated as was everywhere.

Unable to find a booking in York OR Harrogate, I discovered this wonderful B and B farm just a few miles out of the town of Harrogate. Three nights later, I didn't want to leave! The house is beautifully done and owner, Jayne Ryder, makes every moment special. From a beautiful room with a VIEW of rolling green fields, trees,...

Everything about our 2 night stay was perfect. The location was peaceful and idyllic. The rooms were beautifully decorated and Immaculately clean, as was the rest of the house. There were plenty of toiletries, and lots of attention to detail. Bottles of water and delicious homemade flapjacks. We were met by Abbie, who showed us to our room and made...

Booked in advanced for a 3 night stay with my mother who was visiting from the states. I was going by the pictures from the web-site and I will say now those are VERY out dated! The yard in back is in need of some SERIOUS care. In fact there were weeds and broken bits of outdoor furniture all over....

Thank you for your review and your comments have been duly noted, however a little unjust I feel as I was not given an estimated arrival time, I also apologise about the smell which was out of our control as it was from a neighbouring farm. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay as I do put a...

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at this guest house. Lovely room, very peaceful and comfortable. Close to Harrogate. Jayne, the owner, was extremely helpful and we got a lovely breakfast both mornings - a selection of fruit, cereals, juices and a cooked breakfast. Lovely extra touches in bedrooms - bottled water, homemade flapjacks and nice toiletries. Would definitely recommend this...

Spent two nights travelling alone. Got the peace and quiet I needed accompanied by warm welcome, great extra little touches, lovely breakfast, pleasant double room ( would be cramped for two) very clean. Lounge/ breakfast room a bit dark and old fashioned .

A warm welcome by Jayne, with a pot of tea and home made cake in the comfortable guests' lounge set the tone for our 3 night stay. We instantly felt at home, our room was large and well appointed with additional details such as bottled water, homemade cookies, and toiletries which were replenished daily and the breakfasts were excellent. The...
