A family-run business, we have recently become apart of the DoubleTree by Hilton collection. Built in 1900, the hotel is surrounded by acres of beautifully landscaped gardens that overlook the town. With 14 function rooms, a fully equipped Spa and Health Club, and parking, our hotel is the perfect destination for both business and pleasure. A Victorian landmark, the four-star hotel has 184 bedrooms and sits in the heart of the spa town of Harrogate. Just a mile from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms, it’s the perfect location to enjoy Harrogate’s quaint shops and spas; you can also easily venture into the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. The Harrogate Spa will be opening 1st November 2019, boasting a heated indoor pool, rasul, spa pool, sauna room and steam room with a built-in Hymalian salt wall and 6 treatment rooms, 2 of which are Doubles. Stayed overnight for a conference which included dinner in Carters restaurant . Very good meal, well cooked, nicely presented , generous portions, interesting ingredients and all served hot and simultaneously for a hundred people. Lucy our server was exceptional and went out of her way to meet all our requirements and made sure we had a lovely evening . Thank you Lucy!

The hotel was amazing and they allow pets! The hotel is located in town centre so it is easy to get to a lot of places by just a short walk. The parking was £12 per day which isn't a bad price! We had some afternoon tea in the spa which was great and we also had a full body message done my Laura and Zuzanna which was one of the best ones we had!

The changing rooms had good facilities with showers, shower gel, hair dryers and straighteners. We were also given robes, a towel and flip flops. The poolside was well presented and clean. I had a great pregnancy massage by Zuzanna - totally worth it. We finished off our session with a delicious Bento Box lunch. I'd very happily return.

We have just returned from a Spa night at the Double Tree in Harrogate which was excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming and upgraded our room free of charge as it was our anniversary. We then had a lovely afternoon tea in the spa followed by a treatment each. We then spent time by the pool. Our room was very spacious and clean with an extra heater if we needed it. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant with very nice waiting staff. Breakfast was also the same. I couldn’t fault the hotel and find some of the other reviews surprising. We would definitely visit again. Thank you

Amazing gluten free cream tree. Ellie was very reassuring that everything was gluten free and packaged up what I couldn’t eat for later. Would definitely return - first cream tea as gluten free in years! Hotel bar is comfortable and relaxing and very peaceful on the afternoon that we came.
