We stayed here on an offer from Late Luxury. The hotel was well positioned in Harrogate for the theatres, town centre and busses. We had our Afternoon Tea on the first day of our stay and were surprised that the staff had to walk the full length of the hotel to bring us our food on open plates. It was...

Book this hotel through spa break.com. as a Christmas present. Firstly you have to £8 for parking!! We couldn't check in until 3.00p.m. so walked into town. Reception staff not exactly rude but very dismissive. We had looked at the website before we booked and the pictures show luxury rooms with modern bathroom. Not what we found, we thought we...

Stayed over night paid £80 room only but was sooooo worth the money. This place truly does earn/merit it's 4* status. I have noticed a few reviews that mention the "dated décor" - its not dated it is in keeping with the age/style of the hotel. The 'spa' area is not 4* it is an add on to the hotel...

Being involved in the accommodation business we were note expecting 5 star accommodation for the price we paid but . . We were on the 4th floor and the room was very tired. Mattress was something from the prehistoric ages - so knackered it had gone past death several times. Furniture and décor tired. Window frames and windows could have...

My wife and I stayed in the Majestic with my youngest son and small dog. We just loved it. The room was massive and it was on the fourth floor overlooking the Town. This was a beautiful and historic hotel with so much atmosphere. The hotel is not modern and the rooms my need a bit of TLC but the...

We bought a groupon. We didn't expect much. What we received was way beyond our expectations. A beautiful old hotel with famous history and grandure. The refurbished parts were a sign of things to come. It was breathtaking. The staff food and general cleanliness were good. Being a groupon, as I said, not much was expected. However we booked a...

I stayed here with friends as part of a deal with breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner included. The hotel has a lovely feeling to it - very old world. The dinner was lovely, really good choices available and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is superb - a few minutes from Harrogate centre. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We bought a Last Minute package deal that included a one night stay, breakfast, a three-course meal at the restaurant, a 25minute treatment and full access to Spa facilities. We arrived at the hotel quite earlier. We couldn't check in as the room wasn't ready but we were able to use the Spa facilities before out treatment. I purposely booked...

This is probably our 4th visit to the Majestic hotel & spa in Harrogate & as always we throughly enjoyed our visit. We opted for an Executive Room, which came with a large bay, so the room was enormous as was the bathroom. The hotel is stylish and even though it is over 100 years old, it has lost none...
