I was attending an evening business event and the organisers had negotiated a really good deal- b&b inc parking for £75. The hotels Victorian splendour seems to have been very well looked after and the staff seemed very happy to be working there. Great service from everyone I dealt with, food superb ( I meant to ask where they sourced... More

The Majestic is a fine impressive building. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Our standard twin room was basic; the single beds were extremely narrow. Another member of our party had a single room, and this was no better. We tried the swimming pool, which was pleasantly warm, but the changing area was cold and the Jacuzzi was not working... More

Groupon stay. Good value. Some staff have poor customer service. Others are brilliant. Room was very nice but no hot water, so got moved to another room which was just as nice. Public rooms cold. Take a warm jumper! Evening meal - 5/10. Breakfast 7/10. Bar area very quiet but did go end of Nov. on a Monday. Witness very... More

Wow, what a beautiful hotel. We went for a dinner, bed and breakfast package break. The food was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. I loved how they have still kept a traditional style within the hotel in keeping with the exterior. The spa and gym facilities were good and the staff we very friendly and helpful, nothing we asked... More

The Majestic is a very impressive, if not beautiful monolith which used to dominate the Victorian skyline of Harrogate. It's right next to the conference centre, which is good, and it's very close to Harrogate's excellent bars and restaurants. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist who completed formalities in good time but did not... More

Attended the hotel recently for a business dinner / dance event and really enjoyed the experience. Car Park was pretty full but we found a space which was a short walk to reception where check in was straightforward and quick. We were on the first floor of the hotel which is useful as the lifts are very small and quite... More

Booked a spa break for 11 people but after reading the reviews I was really worried. I shouldn't have worried as it is a lovely hotel, very grand, beautiful chandeliers and features and our rooms were lovely too. The gent on reception very kindly let us have our rooms before 1pm and although very professional he had us in stitches.... More

..Here with a group for four nights in this vast Victorian (?) pile of faded opulence. Check in was simple but our third floor room was seemingly in the next parish. The first nights dinner left a lot to be desired with slow service and very tough pork. All the evening meals thereafter were questionable with either too hot old... More

Room was a fair size but lighting poor in room. Old fashioned hotel. Grand hotel but service at bar very slow. Overall central to town centre. Dogs were allowed with was quite a surprise as there was one in the next room.
