We have visited Royal Parade Apartments 4 times now, we have always stayed in the Brooklyn Apartment. It is a beautiful apartment, the layout is gorgeous. It's really light and cosy. It is always immaculate every time we have visited. This is the first place myself and my fiancé ever went together a few years ago, and now we make an effort to try come here once a year. Last year he proposed here too! The owners made such an effort to make sure the place was set up just how he wanted it (it was xmas time and they put some decor in to make it christmassy). The Apartment is in a perfect location for wondering into town. Bars and restaurants close by mean you don't have to travel anywhere if you don't want to. There is a handy little convenience store next door that sells pretty much everything you would need for an over night stay. You have to park the car quite a way up a hill if you want to park for free, however there is a lovely walk through the park which makes the walk from the car a lot more pleasant! The owners are very prompt in getting the apartment ready. We've always gotten the key code really early on in the day which means as soon as we get there (normally 12pm/1pm ish) we can go straight in and drop our bags and head into town. We really cannot fault this place. It shows since we keep going back!!…
Firstly after reading a recent bad review on here I was worried as to what we'd booked but we found the property easily and parked around the corner in a side street . A little shop nearby sells everything you might need but coffee/tea/sugar were all supplied . The apartments are so quiet and perfectly placed . Lots of places to eat and things to do nearby . The apartment is in an old building so don't expect ultra modern but it's very tastefully done and we found it comfortable and spacious, and the owner was really helpful and replied straight away when contacted , thank you . We will return
I’m sorry this is so negative but was super excited after reading reviews that We were going to be so amazed but unfortunately we were gutted. Difficult to find even local shop owners had no idea were they were located! First of all we drove around the roundabout about 8 times looking the private car park ! Rang contact number 4 times , no answer so left a message as could not find the car park space at all! When we found it we could not even get our car down the narrow passage ! Weather didn’t help as was snowy but there was not enough room to manoeuvre at all! We had to park in multi-storey costing £14. Was dying for a coffee NO MILK! Had to buy from shop . The apartments was like a flat above a shop! No one there to help, dull, dark & uninviting , Not luxurious or posh, awful carpets, terrible sofa , shower tray flooding with water, stained scatter cushions, chipped paintwork, wonky toilet roll holder, dirty cup, hairs in bathroom, almost empty hand washes, the list of things goes on..... not for us, very upset would not stay here again. The only good things were location & was warm , comfy bed & modern decor but sometimes it’s all the attention to detail that make it special & for us the whole experience was not good enough. Lesson learned.so a big fat no thankyou to these apartments. …
We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The apartment was spacious, well designed and very clean. The location is brilliant for shopping, bars and restaurants and the apartment also had a parking space to the rear. We would love to stay again and try one of the other themed apartments.
Stayed in the Royal apartment for 2 nights when attending a wedding this weekend. The apartment is ideally situated right in the centre of Harrogate next to Valley gardens, lots of bars, shops and restaurants are conveniently near by . The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully, a real home from home, we usually stay at Rudding Park but this will be our first choice in future.
