Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Truly gorgeous apartments in beautiful surrounds. The Royale Apartment has modern luxury within a classic Victorian building. Perfect location too for ambling around the sights & delights of Harrogate. A special mention to the caretaker, Kevin, who was extremely helpful.

This was a real treat. Fabulous apartment, extremely spacious. There is a large bedroom, bathroom and a dressing room. Large kitchen / dinner and sitting room. All beautifully decorated and Immaculate. The view was fantastic and it is a perfect position in central Harrogate. I will definitely stay again as I go to Harrogate a few times a year

we have just returned from two nights at the brooklyn apt. what a great experience. everything was well pre catered, clean and very functional. i cant think of any better value and we will certainly return soon. one tip ( as shown me by the very kind and patient owner) is that the parking spaces are behind the building and the access lane is single file and displays a turn left marking on the road but its actually two way and fine to go up, its just before the junction at the pump house. brilliant stay

Looking for somewhere to stop for a few days while travelling down to London, I came across Royal Parade. We took the Royale Apartment for 3 nights. Arrangements to collect the key were easy (code to access the main door & a code for the key box outside the apartment were emailed in advance). The apartment was really well appointed and stylish. Right in the centre of the action with great pub and eating options near by. We had breakfast in Hoxton North and drinks at the Fat Badger in the White Heart Hotel just around the corner - both excellent. You are just beside the Valley Gardens and if you fancy a walk can easily get to the RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Would stay again if in Harrogate

. I find it odd that there are so few reviews for the Royal Parade Apartments. I'm rather fed-up of paying high prices for hotels that let you down. Yet, we just had 2 nights in the Royale Apartment and think the value was excellent, the space provided was a joy. The decor charming and creative. I admit we thought the bed looked rather small compared to what we are used to, but our concerns were unnecessary as we slept very well. The apartment was comfy and we settled in like it was home. If I have one gripe it's the fact the Smart TV doesn't appear to have been tuned in properly, and I couldn't work out how to do it. Most of the Freeview channels were missing, and to use Netflix or Amazon Prime would have meant registering the TV in my name, which I was not prepared to do. Yes, we could have contacted the owners to sort it out, but we were only there 2 nights and wanted privacy. But as far as I'm concerned it's a no-brainer. Hotel or Royal Parade Apartments? Royal Parade would win every time if we go back to this part of the world. Word of advice if arriving my train. If you want to take a taxi to the apartments don't let the taxi drivers tell you it's not worth it, to just walk. They gave us a misleading idea of how close the station is to Royal Parade. And oddly despite going into The Ivy and other shops, no one seemed to know where Royal Parade was. Yet, once found, it's not difficult at all. It's truly not that far from the train station, but if you don't know where you're going you don't need to be misled by a taxi driver. Please do not hesitate to book if you like a decent sized space, and the joy of having your own kitchen to use when you wish, and prefer to not waste a huge sum of money on a hotel. Also, the huge bonus in these Covid times is having your own apartment rather than sharing space with lots of strangers especially at breakfast time. .

We have visited Royal Parade Apartments 4 times now, we have always stayed in the Brooklyn Apartment. It is a beautiful apartment, the layout is gorgeous. It's really light and cosy. It is always immaculate every time we have visited. This is the first place myself and my fiancé ever went together a few years ago, and now we make an effort to try come here once a year. Last year he proposed here too! The owners made such an effort to make sure the place was set up just how he wanted it (it was xmas time and they put some decor in to make it christmassy). The Apartment is in a perfect location for wondering into town. Bars and restaurants close by mean you don't have to travel anywhere if you don't want to. There is a handy little convenience store next door that sells pretty much everything you would need for an over night stay. You have to park the car quite a way up a hill if you want to park for free, however there is a lovely walk through the park which makes the walk from the car a lot more pleasant! The owners are very prompt in getting the apartment ready. We've always gotten the key code really early on in the day which means as soon as we get there (normally 12pm/1pm ish) we can go straight in and drop our bags and head into town. We really cannot fault this place. It shows since we keep going back!!

Firstly after reading a recent bad review on here I was worried as to what we'd booked but we found the property easily and parked around the corner in a side street . A little shop nearby sells everything you might need but coffee/tea/sugar were all supplied . The apartments are so quiet and perfectly placed . Lots of places to eat and things to do nearby . The apartment is in an old building so don't expect ultra modern but it's very tastefully done and we found it comfortable and spacious, and the owner was really helpful and replied straight away when contacted , thank you . We will return

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The apartment was spacious, well designed and very clean. The location is brilliant for shopping, bars and restaurants and the apartment also had a parking space to the rear. We would love to stay again and try one of the other themed apartments.

Stayed in the Royal apartment for 2 nights when attending a wedding this weekend. The apartment is ideally situated right in the centre of Harrogate next to Valley gardens, lots of bars, shops and restaurants are conveniently near by . The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully, a real home from home, we usually stay at Rudding Park but this will be our first choice in future.

My wife and I stayed just one night on Sunday 9th April but wished we'd stayed longer. The Royale Apartment was so impressive - huge, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, superb location right near the very centre of Harrogate. Unfortunately we were unable to connect to the internet but the owner has assured us she will reimburse the parking fee as compensation. Would definitely stay here again - a very special find.
