Travellers' Choice
The Queens Head at Kettlesing near Harrogate is a traditional country inn serving good home cooked food, well kept real ales from Masham & Knaresborough and comfortable B&B accommodation. We're mad about traditional homemade English food. Whether it's our all day Sunday Lunches or our famous Old Peculier steak pie or our yummy puddings, you can be assured you won't leave hungry. Our specials board changes regularly and the menu is varied and interesting. Don't forget we're open all day for food on Sundays when many other local restaurants are closed. The bar at the Queens Head has the welcoming hospitality, warmth and character of a traditional Yorkshire country inn, serving a selection of local real ales from Masham and Knaresborough

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are staying in Harrogate or anywhere within driving distance of this place and want a wonderful traditional Yorkshire pub, with fires, outstanding food and lovely beer coupled with very nice people just come here. Don't stay in Harrogate, get a cab, have a Lamb Hot Pot pie, pint (s) of Roosters IPA, an apple pie and then get a cab back and sleep for the rest of the day.

Lovely friendly pub with rooms very close to Harrogate. Room had everything I needed including tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits. We all had a meal and drinks in the bar area which was great. Would recommend.

An excellent 'pub with rooms'. Very clean. Friendly owners. Really good food at a reasonable price. We had the Sunday roast, a veggie option and breakfasts - all top notch. Kettlesing is only a few miles from the main road to Harrogate and easy to find.

We stayed one night to break up our drive from London to Hexham. Our room was a good size, bright and airy and very comfortable. Tesla charging in the car park was a real bonus for us. The staff were very hardworking and pleasant. We had dinner in the pub and it was delicious - steak pie outstanding! Breakfast the next morning was also excellent. We liked the place so much we popped in for another steak pie on the way home a few days later! Can thoroughly recommend the Queens Head for both food and stay and we hope to go back sometime next year.
