Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I had stayed there last year too; the hotel is great value for money, clean, comfortable, great central location and with friendly helpful staff. I recommended it to other family members who were equally impressed!

Clean and tidy room, decent sized bath towels, teas and coffees refilled as requested. There were excellent staff on reception who were very helpful both when I arrived, had trouble opening the outer door in the evening and when my card stopped working.

I arrived a bit earlier this time, and it was not a problem, Esther stored my bags. She was very helpful. There are lots of restaurants and cafes close to the hotel, everything is a short walk away, central location. It can be a bit noisy in the night, but the hotel has triple glazed windows. My room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay in this Travelodge again.

Did not enjoy my stay here, the room was hot and had no air conditioning so you had to open the widows to cool the room down, then you had the noise from the Wetherspoon bar with emptying bottles and changing barrels all night also construction work going on so noise from scaffolding and workmen

Room clean but terribly noisy due to pub over the road and weekend revellers. The noise went on until 3am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Staff are miserable and couldn't even crack a smile. I think the amount paid for this particular Travelodge was overpriced, even for a weekend stay. I have stayed in far better Travelodge and will not return to this one.

This place is decent. Functional, basic, clean and well located. I paid £83 for a Saturday night - not cheap, but Harrogate hotels are pricey at the weekend. Price dropped to £40 hours after I booked it at the higher price. Parking situation not great. The carpark next door was full and the alternative postcode on travelodge website takes you to the travelodge west park multi storey carpark which is a good 10-15 minute walk away, and 7 minutes in the car. Surely there are closer car parks to recommend.

Staff were exceptional, room was great, cant fault the hotel in any way. Will happily use again. Beds were really comfortable, carpets clean, plenty of complimentary tea/coffee available. All in all a very good nights stay.

Stayed one night. We had a really clean, large room, nice and warm too on a cold night. We heard some noise from the bar opposite, but not enough to disturb our sleep, might be different in the summer if you have your room window open though. Great, central position. We couldn’t get parked in the car park behind the hotel, but found plenty of spaces at the nearby Jubilee Car Park (£14 for 24 hours). Had breakfast at Betty’s, which is just a two minute walk away.

The hotel was clean, warm and the location for the center of Harrogate is ideal. Price was much cheaper than any of the other hotels in the region. We parked in a council car park 10 minutes walk away as it was cheaper but there was plenty of spaces avaiable behind the hotel but that was more money.
