Really lovely guest house. Working away and much prefer cosy home away types to big modern hotels it's harder to feel settled. Warm welcome from staff, rang my work to see if I needed to check in after a late shift as close at 8pm. Heating on ready for me in my room, very clean and cosy. Definitely recommend and...

We stayed here for one night and can't recommend it highly enough. Tabs was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, bed very comfy, wifi worked well, and we had a very lovely stay. Ash grove is situated on a residential road making it very quiet with minimal traffic noise. Breakfast was very tasty - choice of...

Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. Well located on Kings Road across road from conference centre. Comfortable clean single room with ensuite, (stayed in Room 6 overlooking main road but didn't find it noisy) lovely friendly owner, nothing seemed too much trouble. Good choice of cooked breakfast. About 10 mins walk downhill from rail station but little bit...

A lovely guest house in Harrogate, very near to all amenities. My single room was small but immaculately presented and had everything necessary to ensure a comfortable stay. It was extremely hot but thankfully, a fan was provided which made all the difference. The breakfast was delicious and Tabs was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble and I...

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious. Breakfast was cooked to order which was great - even accommodating my slimming world diet. The location is easy reach to town

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights over Easter weekend. It was a last minute booking and I found the price very reasonable considering the timing of the break and my poor organisation skills. I received a text message from Tabs to confirm our arrival time which I thought was very nice. She was able to give me...

Every year I attend a conference in Harrogate and for the last 3 years I have stayed at Ash Grove and have already booked it for next year. It is perfectly, clean, friendly, quiet, professional, helpful and well priced. I stay in many hotels across Europe all year and wish more were as easy to choose as Ash Grove.

First time in Harrogate attending a concert, the Ash Grove was perfectly located for the venue (right across the road) and the town centre. Room was a good size with nice bathroom and appeared to be recently decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. There seemed to still be a little updating work going on but this did not impact...
