Stayed for 2 nights on 2-3 August. A very friendly reception from proprietor Robert. Brookthorpe Lodge was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and there was ample parking. Robert,s recommendation for dinner locally was also spot on!

We only stayed one night but it was wonderful! We had two rooms, a double and a twin, both with ensuites. Robert made a suggestion for a restaurant for dinner, and it was very good. We will recommend Brookthorpe to friends who may be traveling in the area.

“Our rooms were on the top floor. The hotel is on the side of a fairly busy road so if you can ask for a room not overlooking the front. Having said this, it was not noisy during the night and we only were not bothered by any noise.”
