Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel was fine. Space is limited at breakfast so the staff are a bit pushy about booking. Rooms fine, a bit musty in places. Breakfast food very good. Pub next door ok but not very welcoming at the end of the evening when they are close to going home. Food there was good. Didn’t appreciate the fire alarm at 4.45am caused by an idiot vaping in their room (who does that at 4.45am?!!!!). We found out they got a £100 fine. Plenty of parking. Bar in bowling area open up to 1am. There’s an earlier post about Debz in reception. We saw this being enforced. There are no toilets outside of rooms. It’s a bit odd. But the pub is right next door so just go there.

Stayed here for one night @ £45 room rate what a bargain Room was facing the main road, double glazing completely blocked any noise. Easy check in, loads of free parking, room was warm and clean with aircon and heating. Plenty of hot water, bath and a shower, nice large tv, nice pub next door called the Wheatstone Inn, the pies are delicious 🤤 What more can you ask ? Nothing, can’t wait to return Keep up the good work 👍

What a lovely stay at a bargain rate. Rooms spacious, well ventilated, quiet and beds comfortable. Set up well for a family of 5. Incredibly good receptionist (Rosi) who was extremely helpful and accommodating of our needs and breakfast was outstanding and well cooked by chef (Adam) and well managed. All cleaning and waiting staff (Max and Shaye names I received) super friendly and happy. I don’t know who manages the hotel but we are very impressed with how things are run. I usually leave a hotel feeling tired and slightly disappointed but I left feeling rested and well fed. Bravo!

Stayed here for Cheltenham Festival two years in a row now and the standard of the hotel for a Premier Inn is great. Rooms clean and friendly, polite staff. Further than you would think from Cheltenham Town Centre, but no detriment to the hotel, who are helpful in assisting with taxis.

When we arrived at the hotel - we were unsure if we need breakfast due to start times of the event we were going to - as such the receptionist offered us a booking of the table however - did not take any money and was happy to arrange for payment later when we found out if we could go or not - we did go and were treated to a very nice cooked breakfast and my 3 children ate for free

Amazing stay!! Stayed her with friends as we booked a night out in Gloucester but didn’t want to pay town centre prices! Easy access to taxi and they came quick. Pub next door was ok. Breakfast in the hotel was an added bonus not having to walk outside in the morning when it’s cold and wet! Overall great stay! Thanks to the team!

Arrived ten minutes early and my Mrs was dying to use the loo. She was told it would be a tenner for early check in and she couldn't use the loo. Get a grip Debz. The hotel doesn't belong to you. Thanks for the lovely welcome. We were then issued only 1 key card when there were clearly two of us and only one set of towels in a room that was reserved for two. All in all it wasn't a very pleasant start to what should've been a lovely valentine's night.
