Had a meal here with the family on a busy Saturday night, food was fabulous and service even better! Staff couldn't do enough for us...made to feel very welcome! Will definitely be returning soon. Our waiter Sam was particularly lovely and the children loved him!

Got invited to meet friends for dinner who were staying here a few days! We live quite close, but had never eaten here! Was surprised how nice this hotel was! Barman very friendly, & girl who served us was extremely nice & polite! I had fillet steak, partner had mushroom risotto, & our lovely friends had ribeye steak & gammon...

I stayed here over the Easter weekend and the first impressions weren't good. There is internet allegedly but this is totally unreliable. Rooms were very cramped with small double beds. Entrance to the establishment is via one of 3 doorways none of which are properly marked - seems you book in at the bar. Very little to do in the...

I booked this wowcher deal including 3 course dinner not expecting too much for the price, Wrong! We arrived and the staff were lovely and helpful from the start. We were shown the room and offered advice on local attractions and any assistance throughout our stay. The room wasn't the biggest and we asked for a quite one as it...

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Rooms clean and tidy. Clean towels very day. Didn't have breakfast so cannot commit. Car parking good and on the premises. Old fashion hotel so a little noisy between the rooms and the bar is underneath the rooms. Would recommend this hotel but book through booking.com because it's cheaper.

Stayed for one night only. Internet Deal £69 for bed, breakfast and evening meal. Room nice and clean, evening meal was pleasant and breakfast took 40 minutes and was missing sausage and black pudding. May seem trivial, but when asked if I want these on my breakfast and they aren't added. Just find that annoying. Bar on the evening busy...

We stayed for one night, think we had a room that had not had a makeover. The toilet was so hard to flush, green suite, that he handle broke. The shower temperature was either red hot or freezing cold! The bed was fine. The room was snug even though it was a double. Wouldn't want to stay more than one...

This was a Wowcher deal at £69 for B&B plus a 3 course evening meal for two. Good value for money so there were no great expectations. The hotel is handily placed some 15 minutes drive from. the centre of Derby and the same from Donnington Racing Circuit. The standard room was adequate and the evening meal okay but with...

Had a 2 day "cheapie" off the net & to be fair didn't expect too much, well how wrong can you be! Arrived to be met by very pleasant staff who led us to our superior room which was quite large with a huge bathroom which clearly just been refurbished to a very high standard. Breakfast & one evening meal...

We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We booked it through secret escapes, we had a superior room which was very nice and clean shame it was only a double bed which lets it down a bit. The ensuite was very clean and well maintained. We had breakfast at the hotel which was cooked fresh for you and...
