Budget price, clean room, OK facilities, OK staff, OK breakfast. It's a standard pub with rooms attached. Perfectly OK if you're a contractor or on business looking for somewhere cheap, clean and warm to get you head down! Not a place I'd use for leisure but in this neck of the woods all the 'chains' are almost at least double...

Fantastic team of friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were good value and the break was great. For a one or two night stopover, this place is a little gem, with a nice beer garden and a good feeling to it. Wi-fi needs attention though as I found it very sporadic.

Booked a room as we were attending a party close by, the reception process was good but the room was a great dissapointment. The overall impression is of a tired room in need of a freshen-up. Was dissapointed to find only one Bath towel to share which was just not good enough. If there was a positive it was the...

I was apprehensive when we drove into carpark. Saw the lettings rooms all in a row in the courtyard as you go into pub entrance. they were two story. The courtyard was full of people all sitting outside and some right in front of the downstairs windows. Not only that but no voiles or nets for privacy at the windows....

I was booked in here on a business trip by a friend.. I have already booked again for next year. It is a pub with rooms attached. I had a bit of difficulty locating my room but it was pleasant and comfortable. I then went down for a meal. It was very busy but they found me a table and...

I stayed here last night. Was only £48 for the night. A single bed, in a slightly tired room - but clean - clean white sheets and towels. And a good nights sleep. Good beer. And easy to park. I've stayed in better - but good value overall.
