Stayed here as a family visit Nov 2016 Location: Located in Highworth on High Street, we picked this hotel for its proximity to Cotswolds. Had ample parking at the hotel car park- there is parking at the front of the hotel also (pay and display) but better to park at the back in the car park owned by the hotel....

I stayed here from the 16th January for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. I was working a late shift so it gave me the opportunity to get out in the morning and have a walk about. Highworth is a beautiful Little place and worth a visit. the hotel itself was a stunning pub and the staff were all super...

I have stayed an other Arkell's pubs and they have always been adequate to good, the Saracens Head was maintained this standard. First of all plentiful free parking, always a bonus. Reception is at the bar as usual, the only girl there was fairly busy but took the time to check me in without becoming flustered and was very helpful....

Thankfully there were plenty of staff on, and we were son checked in and shown to our rooms. My room was...

If it was not for the fact everything was booked up we would have left this hotel as quickly as we entered. We are fans of the Arkells pub chain and have stayed in several in the past however this one is by far the weakest link......reception....after registering our card at reception it was off to room 7 on the...

We stayed here for the Fairford Air Show for for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy an had everything we required. The bathroom was small but fully functional and we had clean towels on both days. It was facing the main road which could be noisy but we always take ear plugs so it did not cause any...

Overall, the service and food was very good. Quality food and good service. The pub is a proper pub, with the beams above. Obviously, the pub shows wear and tear, but still very nice It was a very nice evening with our friends who live locally. We did not stay in the hotel section. We would go back here again...

This is what I call a locals local as if you are not a local you are ignored. The food is good but the service is very poor. If you are a local its like going to Grannies house for lunch as we were from out of town we were made to wait for our food while the locals were served...

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting friends in the area. The room was small but very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Bathroom had a nice modern bath and shower. Bed was super comfortable. The pub downstairs had a great vibe to it and staff were very friendly. Food was excellent. Very nice menu. Lots...
