Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here two nights to visit Highclere Castle ( Downton Abbey) . The usual Premier inn standards all were met . Quiet nights, friendly and efficient staff. Very handy for Swindon town centre and a short walk to the Steam museum. Breakfast was busy but the staff kept tables cleaned and available.

We LOVED this all electric/sustainable concept from PremierInn I’ve stayed in a few over the years and this was by far the best and most friendly. I was with my twin boys who can be difficult to please and they rated it as best shower and comfiest beds.

It's a premier Inn, what can I say, clean and you know what you're getting but what sets this Premier Inn way above any others are the staff. They were helpful, so friendly and so kind, nothing was too much trouble. I can't rate them highly enough. Definitely will be back

Stayed at this hotel with my family for a night before we continued on with our adventures, and I was so happy that we stayed at Premier Inn Swindon Town Centre. A new hotel that has been design beautifully, and with staff who are tremendously kind and welcoming. Kudos to the guys at front desk and restaurant. They were so nice and patient with my kids, including two who are autistic. You gals/gents rock!

Hotel and staff very lovely. Staff were very friendly and attentive when needed. Quick check in. Room was very clean, the bathroom was genuinely sparkling! Great breakfast - very fresh and good choice. 1 small issue was rectified immediately so didn't impact on stay.

Ok, for this review I have split it up. For the hotel it gets a 5 stars. It was amazing, it was warm, comfortable, great beds For the evening meal it gets 5 stars. Is was well cooked, the staff were so friendly For breakfast it only gets 2 stars. The cook (and I say cook because i dont think she was trained) was awful, the food was unappetising, we asked for soft boiled eggs, after 6 attempts we gave up, she had no idea how to cook a simple basic egg. The food was also cold, I dont think she had probed the food to make sure they were at the correct holding temp. So overall i have given 4 stars. The lady cook for breakfast was awful, everything else was beautiful. Yes I will be back (but not for breakfast)

The hotel was as expected with fairly clean and comfortable rooms, though our room had a couple of stray hairs in the bathroom and no shower gel. The main issue with this hotel is the lack of adequate parking for a hotel of this size, and the complete lack of clarity on booking that there are possibly 25 spaces for a hotel offering over 200 rooms.. when we tried unloading and asked where we could park, the staff told us we were likely to be fined for unloading and that we couldn't stay parked there. The only real response we got from the first member of staff we spoke to was "we don't have enough parking, you'll need to park elsewhere!" Eventually, a very nice chap came out and explained there was a nearby car park that was actually cheaper than the premier inn car park... I wouldn't stay in this particular premier inn again.

This new premier inn is in a fantastic position right in the centre of the town centre ideal for the wyvern Theatre that we attended and the Savoy weather spoons is right opposite about 20ft away for breakfast or dinner
