I stayed at the Landmark Hotel for nearly 1 year. I was fortunate to find this excellent place a short drive away from my workplace. Tom and Katy are both very pleasant, friendly and have excellent prompt communication skills. They were very helpful in accommodating me into one of the studio flats at the outset, which was a big help. Overall the Landmark Hotel is a very pleasant and friendly place to live where those around you are sociable and welcoming, but also respect your privacy too. I felt very at home here. There is a nice big kitchen with ample storage room and up to date cooking facilities, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryers. There is good strong wifi throughout the hotel. The communal areas are immaculately maintained by the two lovely cleaners Kate and Claire with weekly cleaning and linen changes in the room. There is ample parking space on site as well as a GP surgery and in house pharmacy yards away from the hotel- particularly useful for the longer stay residents. Moreover there are excellent amenities in the form of a "mini" Asda and petrol station just a 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk from the Hotel, which is extremely handy. Larger supermarkets are a 5-10 minute drive away. Furthermore there are excellent transport links with a bus stop directly outside the hotel running once or twice an hour to destinations such as the city centre and the M4 motorway less than a 5 minute drive from the hotel with easy access to destinations such as the Great Western Hospital and major cities such as Bristol and London depending on the direction of travel. Overall I had a pleasant stay at the Landmark Hotel and would highly recommend it. Best wishes, Faroakh

We found this lovely place last spring and stayed almost a year and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It is very peaceful and homely, pleasant place however long you wish to stay. The facilities are clean and of a great standard. We loved our room with on-suite bathroom and full access to a commercial sized communal kitchen. A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners Tom and Katy who are always accomadting and helpful, with a lovely community within the hotel. We especially loved our access to the beautiful established grounds which are maintained giving a very peaceful and relaxing surroundings right on our door step. We loved the long walks we were able to go on from this well situated hotel in the heart of chiseldon village, from easy access to the washpool down to the river and through to coate water or to follow the old railway line going on to Malborough. Easy access to post office and shops right outside the hotel and bus routes to Swindon and surrounding areas near by and easy access to the M4. This has been a very pleasurable stay and a great stepping stone onto our future with fond memories, we really will recommend this place to anyone who is seeking to stay short or long term here. All the best for the future, thank you for our lodgings. James and Trinity Haley

A colleague was staying at this hotel during a 6 month contract at the same company I was contracting too and he gave it a great rating so it was easy for me to choose to stay there. Really clean and great as you can come and go as you please and its very quiet too which is perfect if you have to do some work in the day or evening from your room. Rooms are just a nice size with a sofa to rest and watch TV and a table to eat your meals from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay there again if I get another contract in Swindon. Regards Andy

We came across this little gem of a place by sheer luck. We were awaiting to move into a more long term place in Swindon and we stayed at the Landmark hotel Chiseldon for one month. The place is squeaky clean, with very good quality furniture and a TV in your room, wifi, ample hot water, a fantastic massive kitchen where you can show off your culinary skills, several fridge/freezers for food storage, a laundry room with an industrial scale dryer and your room is cleaned weekly by a great team of housekeepers. Chiseldon is a very beautiful village and Landmark hotel is a perfect spot to discover the nice walks in this area. All the other residents are very nice (some have been there for years) and you develop a great relationship with them as you get to know them. I would strongly recommend this place if you happen to be in need of a temporary accommodation that would not cost the earth. All in all, I would give this place a 10/10 and would return again.

We needed a place to stay between house selling and new purchase. Luckily we found this little gem of a hotel. It's not your usual hotel in that there's no restaurant or staff as such but it is perfect place for longer term stays when you need flexibility but don't want a 6 months contract. You get a good size room with a comfy bed, ensuite bathroom, sofa, writing desk, tv, kettle, microwave and fridge. There is the hotel kitchen available for you to use and a laundry facility. You basically pay the first months rent then come and go as you please. After the first month you could do week by week or stay for years! All bills are include and once a week they clean your room and change the bedding and towels. There is also a communal conservatory/TV room with full Sky package. Ample parking and a quiet location. Simply put - it was PERFECT for our needs. Thank you
