I have been lucky enough to visit some 24 different countries, as well as stay all over the UK and I can honestly say, this is probably the best place I've ever stayed at! You are not only made to feel so very welcome but made to feel valued. The facilities are outstanding on both quality and amount. The breakfast...

Did not actually stay at this accommodation but there customer service and communication was excellent and on the web site the accommodation looked really appealing, It did not fit my needs on this occasion (as would have been arriving after 10pm and leaving by 8am). If visiting the Telford area in the future this would defiantly be an accommodation high...

This is the second time that we've stayed here and we enjoyed it just as much. A lovely afternoon tea to welcome us, a beautifully appointed bedroom and as good a breakfast as you'll find anywhere. If you're in the area treat yourself and book here, you won't be disappointed.

I stayed here for a night on 24th November 16 with a colleague and we had a fantastic stay, the hosts were very welcoming, the room was lovely and spacious overlooking the gardens, we had homemade brownies and flapjacks and tea by an open fire. It was very convenient for the International Centre (5 min drive or £4 in a...

My husband and I had a marvellous overnight stay at the Old Rectory. Hosts Rosemary and Adrian were very welcoming and homemade cakes with tea on arrival were fantastic. Our room was large and beautifully furnished and breakfast was excellent. Although we were there for a specific event in Madeley and so didn't do much sightseeing, The Old Rectory is...

We had a wonderful stay recently at this B&B. My husband stayed here last year and praised it so much I had to see it for myself. I was in no way disappointed. Beautiful place, wonderful hosts who are two of the loveliest, warmest people we have met. Absolutely faultless in every way. Will stay again next year for sure!

I researched a lot of hotels and B&Bs in the Telford area when planning our trip to Ironbridge Gorge. The reviews for The Old Rectory of St James (on TripAdvisor and elsewhere) were so full of praise that I immediately put it at the top of my list. The reviews speak for themselves; you could be forgiven for thinking they've...

There is nothing more that this property could possibly offer for the traveler. We also own a B&B and during out 13 week tour of England, we compared our lodgings with our own property in a bench marking exercise, because as any B&B owner would know, each property has some unique features. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We did stay in...
