I found this place as an alternative to a town centre b&b I had used previously. It is excellent - well kept, comfortable and the breakfast is very good. There is parking available and a car is necessary as there aren't any restaurants or pubs that do food in easy walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

Steve and I arrived during extreme snowy weather! Our car struggled to park and was sliding all over the place. Christine was very welcoming and after settling in, she very kindly drove us to a nearby restaurant as we couldn't trust our car to make the journey! We enjoyed our stay and had two lovely breakfasts. We were visiting family...

This is our second time at Ingleside. We highly recommend this lovely B&B. we are a family of five and on both occasions Christine has been able to accommodate us and has provided us with a warm welcome, a hearty breakfast and a very comfortable night's sleep. Although our family live in Wigan; when visiting, we happily go a few...

The warmth of the welcome is unbelievable. Christine is a super hostess and can't do enough to make your stay a happy one. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a huge bed. We had a 2 night stay and although the pressure was on Christine to get to her daughter's school play, we were not rushed at breakfast...

My wife and I felt part of this family during our stay. Very pleasant accommodation and good company at a reasonable price. breakfast is served in the family kitchen at a communal table so very good for a morning chat with other residents

My business partner and I are about to stay here again, for our third year. We keep coming back because Christine has ticked all our boxes in a B&B. Clean, warm, very comfortable, welcoming and sends us off everyday with a very happy and full tummy! We fully recommend this B&B, just a long as there is space for our...

Christine has two properties (Ingleside House, the main one, and Inglenook just down the road). I've stayed at both these properties at various times over the past year whilst in the area for business. Christine is very welcoming, and will do anything for you. Having stayed in 2 separate rooms in Ingleside and 1 in Inglenook, I can say they...

The owner has 2 properties about 1 min drive apart both clean and fresh and well converted for guest house use. I was in the remote house and although the owner offered to cook breakfast here for me, I chose to eat in the main house. The remote house has a full kitchen available if you wish to cook your...
