So the receptionist was very friendly and has exceptional service. The woman asked if I won a light sleeper an I guess they got a lot of complaints from that room. She offered to change my room if it was loud.

I really cannot fault this hotel, or its staff, particularly Sharon, always cheerful and jolly. They're all friendly and welcoming whenever I return at the end of the day and makes a fuss of the dog, which he likes. The room is ideal, nice and quiet being the end room. Under the current Covid restrictions they're doing the very best that they can. It's hard on everyone at the moment, but anything I've asked for at reception has not been a problem and has been, or will be dealt with, within a few hours. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Having had to stay in a hotel, rather than with family during lockdown, to attend a funeral we were pleasantly surprised at how clean the rooms were and how friendly the staff were too. Sharon greeted us and said to let them know if we needed anything. The rooms were spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Couldn't fault it. John was very helpful when we asked for extra towels and toilet rolls. Really nice when the staff go out of their way to be friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Basingstoke. Don't be put off by them being only a 2 star.

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and I can honestly say I wont stay anywhere else. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and very helpful as I'm not from the area. I would definitely recommend for anyone to stay in this hotel.
