We booked a deal to stay here through Wowcher (our original date had to be rearranged due to Covid but this was done very swiftly via email). One point I will make is that there wasn't any communication as to the arrival arrangements, or ticket collection etc which could be improved on. We arrived on Saturday morning and found the adventure village check in where we were given park tickets for the Saturday and Sunday and advised check in to accomodation was at 4pm. My three children, husband and I spent the day in the main park which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Social distancing markers, and hand sanitizer was regularly available and all attendants were very helpful in explaining procedures. On our return to the adventure village at around 5:30pm we were given keys to the safari lodge. The lodge was great for what we wanted, somewhere to sleep. A bunk bed, a room with double bed and a sofa bed were all provided, with a bathroom area, kitchen and stocked dining area. I think there could be an improvement on the doorways between rooms as although in keeping with the safari tent theme there was a zip roll down canvas door, it didn't actually zip closed in an evening which isn't brilliant with three small children. I would advise if you are planning on cooking that you take utensils with you as there were knives forks and spoons provided but nothing else. We enjoyed our stay at GUllivers and returned to the main park the next day for the morning, followed by the Dino/Farm park in the afternoon. The splash zone and pedalos were out of use due to Covid but most other amenties were open. Definitely good value for money and enjoyable for the kids.

2 adults 2 kids, stayed 30th to 31st July. The safari lodge was lovely and cosy, fresh clean bath towels and linen, the kids loved it we loved it. Only 2 things that let it down, our accommodation was advertised as having a 2 ring job. Definitely didn’t have that, so ate at the raptor restaurant, kids sausage chips meal ok. Adult fish chips disgusting better quality from lidl! Adult scampi chips, poor portion size, pizza not cooked. 2 juices, 2 beers. £53. Total rip off. That’s why I scored it down. There is a harvester across the road we discovered to late.
The actual village is nice with play parks kids had a great time. I’m glad we didn’t stay in the beach huts or cowboys huts and went for bigger accommodations as we looked inside the others and they were so small it looked claustrophobic.

This is our third time visiting, my little boy has asked to go here for his birthday for the last 3 years in a row, that in itself is a rave!

From an adults perspective I thought I'd give an updated review. I've now stayed in the hideaway, JCB cabin and the jungle Safari lodge (which is where we stayed this visit).

The lodge was great for space, definitely the first time I've felt I could stay for a few days and not feel claustrophobic. The only downside for us was cleanliness. The basics were there, clean bedding, towels etc I can't fault but for example the bathroom wall. It makes me feel sick just thinking of it, it looks like lots of dirty hands had been wiped over it and potentially even a poo smear, just a spray and wipe down is all it needs. Just these little attention to details would make such a huge difference.

The actual site my kids love. Lots of playgrounds dotted around. The entertainment was enjoyed. This is the first time we've been and the weather was awful but they still went ahead with marshmallow toasting which was really appreciated.

Some other points for people wanting more info.
1. The website really is shocking, since we first booked 3 years ago it's not been updated, just really needs more info provided. For anyone who needs to know though, towels and plates, cutlery etc are provided. There are also toilet rolls and a basic body wash in the shower.
2. I tried over and over to get through to someone on the phone in the weeks before we visited. Impossible. Also couldn't leave a message because it kept saying the mailbox was full. In the end I left a message on the website where you could email questions and asked for them to call me. I actually got a call later that day and the woman who I spoke to was really lovely, helpful and accomodating so I would definitely go about getting in touch with them that way.
3. The TV in the cabin wasn't working, their was no reception, I think one channel was clear if you stood in the right place. It wasn't a problem for us as we were only there 1 night, it was just when I tried to watch a bit of TV once the kids were in bed it was a bit annoying. There was a dvd player too so is nice to know you could take a movie or something to watch.

All in all, I know we'll be back. Yes it's a little outdated and if you're expecting something like the big theme parks and hotels you'll be disappointed but take it at face value. For what you are paying it's perfect, for little kids it's just fantastic and I'll be sad when my kids are too old to enjoy this and it's simplicity. However it was my little boy's 8th birthday (younger son is 5) and they loved it.

We stayed for 1 night in the safari lodge/tent and had a great time! It was clean, warm, cosy and a fun glamping experience. We took our two children ages 4 and 8.
In the kitchen there is only a microwave and fridge (no hobs) but we had taken our camping stove so no issues there. There are cups, glasses, plates (no bowls) and basic cutlery (no cooking utensils). Towels, bedding, toilet rolls, kitchen roll and shower gel were provided.
There was ample room for the four of us. I liked that it was cosy and that fact there was linen zip doors dividing the bedroom and bathroom as it added to the camping feel.
The beds were ok, not the comfiest, but fine for a couple of nights...again if your going camping/glamping, what do you expect..it’s not claiming to be a 5* hotel!
There were a few children’s play areas dotted around the accommodation sites which were good and nice that children from the other accommodation areas could play together safely.
Looking around at the other accommodations, some did look very small, so I am glad we picked the Safari Lodge, so do your research for what is best for you and your group. We will definitely be back!

Negatives
We stayed in one of the western cabins. They are small, probably a touch too small. Tv can only be seen by the double bed not the kids bunks.
The bathroom is also too small. While the sink behind the toilet is inventive its impractical and causes extra mess. I also wonder if it's the cause of the awful damp smell in our bathroom. It needs a window at the least or possibly a refit to address. Luckily the smell didnt invade the bed area if the door was shut so we did not complain as I'm sure they are well aware of the issue. (A damp absorber was in the main bit)

Stayed one night in Dino Den. Slightly worried after reading the mixed reviews and lack of info on the website but a relative had stayed previously and enjoyed. I was expecting a basic cabin stay and the Den was compact but had everything needed for one night: bunk beds and sofa bed, shower and toilet, fluffy towels, shower gel, kettle, microwave, sink and mini fridge. Verandah outside with table and chairs. There was heating but we didn’t need. There was plenty of hot water and the shower room looked new, it was all clean. We weren’t expecting any food so the bag of muffins, pastries, juice and bananas was a lovely find and there was a small amount of tea coffee milk and a few paper cups. Our Den was the nearest to the restaurant, sandpit and playgrounds so we could hear the entertainment and music which we liked. Kids could toast marshmallows (take your own) at bedtime which was lovely. Had dinner in restaurant, came to £37.50 for 2 adults 1 child meal large portions and 2 cocktails one juice, enjoyed it. The main theme park has a good variety of rides and play, it’s more for little ones under 8 years. Food options are quite limited maybe take a picnic. The Dino and farm park is smaller and much quieter than the main park but our boy liked it. It’s on a separate site with the accommodation village along side the theme park next door. Take with you: cups, tea, coffee, milk, tea towel, marshmallows , pillow if you like a high one, bike or scooters. We saw a sign saying car park full when we arrived but it wasn’t so ignore that! There’s also a huge country park next door with a lovely splash park (book online) and playgrounds, lovely for bikes and a pub serving food. We also ate at the Hungry Horse Furzton nearby which was fine for a stopoff. May well return. Nice range of accommodation. Lovely accommodation site and all staff were lovely.

We booked for 3 nights in the Lost World Cabin for two adults and two children (1 & 10). I did struggle to get through to Gullivers Land via phone or contact us form to answer any questions about our stay as it was our first trip but they were very helpful once we arrived.

You have access to the parks from 10am on check in day and closing on check out day.

The Lost World Cabin was very clean and tidy, there were a few cosmetic issues but overall we were very happy with the accommodation. On check in you are given the number for maintenance, which we called twice and both times the maintenance person arrived within a few minutes and was very helpful.

The food choices in the park and Raptor Restaurant were very limited and on our next stay we will be taking food for picnics and dinner. The restaurant opens at 5pm on the resort and there are no breakfast options in the park.

The park itself was brilliant, there was a great range of rides and play areas for all ages. My niece (5) met us at the park for one of our days, her and my son were able to go on nearly all of the rides together.

On our first day in the park we queued for certain popular rides for 45 minutes +, my son has SEN and struggled with this so for the remainder of the stay we got a Ride Access Pass which meant that he could enjoy the rides without the stress of queuing. The staff were very helpful with this and were all excellent at interacting with my son and all of the children.

Of an evening the resort offer Scooter Safari for £2.50 per person, Music Bingo for £2 per ticket, Fire Pit Experience with Marshmallows (£4 for a large bag which lasted our whole stay), milk and cookies with the Cookie Monster.
My son and I did the scooter safari which he loved and took part in the music bingo and fire pit experience every night which we all enjoyed.

We visited the Dino Park and Farm on half of one of our days which was great for smaller children and only took a few hours to do.

All in all we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again. My son is already asking if we can go back this year!

We recently stayed in The Beach Dens in Gullivers Dinosaur Park & Farm. On first impressions we were really pleased with the Den, very quirky and the kids loved that it was surrounded by its own beach. When entering the den I was shocked to find that it looked as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned between guests.

The floor was filthy! Definitely hadn’t been swept or brushed. The toilet still had urine in it!
The shower started flooding due to the build up of hair and grime.
The mattress on the beds were so hard! It was impossible to sleep on them.
The overall appearance of the den was very tatty and run down.

There was mold around the sink, holes in the blinds and I constant smell of stale urine.
As It was late when we arrived and the children were so excited about staying in the den I didn’t complain straight away.

Upon leaving the den, I put in a complaint to one of the Gullivers team and showed her photos. She was very apologetic and assured this would be looked into. On arriving home I emailed the managers on an email the lady had given me, this was 2 weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing back!
Nor has anyone else from the park attempted to contact me.

In the current crisis with Covid, I don’t not feel Thai is acceptable to allow guests to stay in facilities such as this.

The park itself was very nice and perfect for young children. However I would strongly recommend that you do not consider booking these dens for your stay.

We camped for 2 out of our 3 nights stay. As a seasoned camper I'm not one to be out off by reviews. At first we were given a very close pitch to another campers area so soon were given further away . We were lucky that we had wonderful neighbours who shared their toys and the kids soon got adopted.
On our visit site wardens were a couple called David and Carol who were very helpful and went over and above for me as a lone camper plus the kids loved shadow their dog.

Toliets and showers could be better but that's mainly down to the plumbing and drainage in need of a upgrade. The toliet seats could be better. And if users actually treated the shower block well it wouldn't look a state at certain times of the day.
Loved the 2 family rooms as the showers are a bit of squash if showering kids. They were left unlocked most the time, so open for abuse from kids roming around.

As a treat for the kids we upgraded rom our tent and moved to a fairy den for our last night. The kids loved it but I found it very warm and small. Luckily I had all our camping stuff as the room really needed a table or somewhere to put your belongings. The bedding was hotel style and a really thick duvet. But it added a extra bit of fun for the kids on the last night. We went and toasted our marshmallows at the fire pit, which is run every night. Bring your own mallows if you can.

Tips for gullivers - I think I saw a offer where if you go one day you can re-enter or go to dinoland for £2 per person. Wish I knew that before hand instead of paying for 2 extra days.

We stayed in the safari lodge, had a fridge and microwave only. There is a restaurant on site you have to go get the food which is terrible and expensive. Kids sausage chips, adult cod chips, adult scampi, pizza. 2 kids juice 2 beers £52 most of which got thrown away. Go to the harvester over the road!
