I stayed at the Stratfords Guesthouse in Milton Keynes for one night and it was a very pleasant stay. Lesley and John are great hosts, offering a warm welcome to their cosy guest house. The room was really very nice. Breakfast was excellent and was customised to individual preference. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for a great...

A brilliant B&B from start to finish. It is in a lovely quiet location but perfect distance from the centre of Milton Keynes (10 minute drive). Rooms are comfortable, very clean and have everything you could need in them, with free Wi-fi a definite bonus! Food is fantastic but unlike most B&B, evening meals are offered, freshly cooked and delicious....

First rate. I've stayed here twice this year and I'm glad I found it. The staff are friendly and approachable, the rooms clean and comfortable and the food excellent. I visit Milton Keynes two or three times a year to visit friends and and a relative I'd previously stayed at the Travellodge but this is a much more pleasant and...

We stayed here recently and I have to say that we were made most welcome. It's only the second time we've visited Milton Keynes, but I can honestly say that when we return (which will be soon) we will definitely be looking to stay here. Very affordable, comfortable and welcoming combined with a fantastic breakfast, what more could I ask...

The showers didn't work, toilet would only flush every 15 minutes, the door was left wide open after it was cleaned whilst we were out, hot water was intermittent, landlady had screaming row with family member using foul language outside our room, bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable, pillows like a bag filled with hay, Breakfast was good though.

It's no excuse but at the time the family running the guesthouse were having severe personal problems. It happens in even the best regulated establishments and homes, doesn't it? Since then the Guesthouse has received many, many positive reviews and it would be a good idea to visit the website where just some of a large number of excellent reviews...
