Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

An overnight business stay in Milton Keynes means I get to trawl sites looking for a decent hotel at a good rate. This one popped up in my price range and it ticked all my boxes (i.e. parking (chargeable though), gym and breakfast thrown in). Found it easily enough, I mean its difficult to miss the Stadium! Check in was smooth, friendly and quick. My room, although miles away from reception was amazing! It was huge, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfy. The gym was good, if a little small - but was deserted when I used it. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Really liked this hotel and hoping to get a decent rate soon so I can stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here over night for our daughters 29th birthday lunch meet-up. We have stayed here on previous occasions, but WOW the service just gets better and better. We were most generously upgraded to a suite by Louis, Louis is amazing and totally values the guest experience. We are Diamond members and our experience at this hotel makes us realise what it really is we love about Hilton. The check in is easy on the App, but we were asked to go to reception. Nisha was extremely polite and courteous and advised that we were being upgraded by Louis to 4085. The suite was amazing, beautifully clean, huge really comfy bed, and the best pillows. The sort that you just lie your head on, smell lovely, and we didn’t wake until the alarm at seven the next morning. We met a lovely lady called Sam on the corridor who was doing evening room services when we arrived I asked her for extra milk as there is never enough in one of those little pots. Sam immediately provided us extra to our suite, just amazing service. A pleasant lady, courteous and professional. Hayden was our table assistant at breakfast, and it must be noted that he is extremely discreet and kept our table very tidy. We took cereal at breakfast and by the time we had returned to our table with our cooked breakfast the dirty dishes had been removed. The same thing happened between us getting croissants and toast. Hayden provided excellent service. We highly recommend this establishment for couples, families and the business user. Just an amazing weekend.

EXTREMELY POOR!! So I went with a few mates, 2 of us got manhandled out of the complex because a security said we were causing trouble. He had clearly misunderstood the the situation. Without listening to reason, I have had my earring & glasses broke. Hilton Doublre Tree, never again!!

Dear R97580Hwillb, Thank you sharing your review, we are very grateful for your feedback. Our Hotel is uniquely designed around the MK Dons stadium, I have been made aware of that, yourself an one of your friend had been asked to leave the MK Dons stadium during the football game, and you came in to the Hotel Lobby to make a complain, our Hotel reception team and management are unfortunately not dealing with complaints relating to the Stadium, but are always happy to give out contact details and direct costumers to the relevant department. The security team are trained and hold a valid SIA badge, and a suitable protocol must be followed. When they feel like someone is a threat or acting in an inappropriate way, they have all the rights to remove or escort people out of the property. I would like to thank you again for sharing your feedback with us. Kind Regards, Noemi Erdelyi Night Manager 01908 364170

2nd time staying here.. First was a suite on floor 4, then this time a normal double on floor 3, staff lovely, rooms clean.. . 2 nights no sleep.. Night one people talking loud in corridor doors slamming, happened a few times and woke me, can literally hear everything.. Night 2 was a function.. loud loud music till 1am.. our room was right underneath it, just the base was constant, called reception at 12am asking when it stops she said 1.. but we can move you if needed.. why would I move at 12am when at check-in could have said we have a function on, we will put you the other side of hotel if preferred.. So I'm leaving after 2 days stay tired and feel I wasted my money.. parking was 40£ aswell.. I don't think ill return.. was meant to be 2 nights relaxing, de stressing.. feel worse then when I arrived 😕

I stay here occasionally for work. The rooms are clean and beds comfy. Toiletries are nice. Good selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance. However, now you have to pay for parking and the breakfast is £20 on top of the room cost. Last time I stayed there were some very noisy structural renovations going on in the cinema opposite which started at 11pm and continued until 1am. I appreciate this is not the hotels fault but after a bad nights sleep I wouldn’t stay again.

I stayed for 2 nights on a solo visit. When I had booked, I received an email offering me an upgrade for a set price. I decided to go for this option, I was not disappointed to discover at Check in that I had been upgraded. Room this was a Deluxe - overlooking the Don's pitch on the 4th floor. It was a good size with a Fridge & safe. I was only provided with 2 sachets of coffee. For a deluxe room, I was surprised that a robe, slippers and shower cap/personal kit was not supplied. Breakfast - this was buffet style and was very good on both days with a good selection and good quality. The young staff who cleared the table lacked a bit of customer interaction, to the point, where one young man, did not even ask me if I had finished eating, he just took my plate away (I was in fact still eating). Housekeeping Staff - I found these staff on floor 4 to be lacking in personaltion and/or customer care!! I may as well have not been there... on the first morning, I said hello to one of the members of the house keeping staff who was cleaning the room opposite to me (4019) and she just ignored me. Later that same day she was talking to a colleague outside of my room when I arrived back, neither of them acknowledged or really moved out my way, they just continued to gossip. This same member of staff ignored me again as I went to breakfast on my last morning. I used the stairs to walk to the restaurant onto floor 2, again I saw other House keeping staff, who again ignored me! Other staff that I met in the Restaurant and Reception were very friendly. They Guy in the Red Dot Bar who provided me with ice was a really nice guy, very friendly. CAR PARKING - be warned, you do have to pay for this. I managed to initially park at the front of the Hotel, however the Saturday was match day, it is difficult to get out of the car park and get back in again. I had to park near the Gym across the road and go and fetch my car back once the match had finished and people had left.

The hotel was clean, staff were nice and breakfast was brilliant . The bed I slept in was awful, it had a topper on it which already indicates the mattress was bad and it was. I felt every spring , every time I moved it pinged. Needless to say I woke up with a sore back. I made a complaint and they were very accommodating and gave me a discount. Not sure why they don't check their bed from time to time. Had they , this wouldn't of happened.

Hotel rooms really nice, well equipped and good value for money. The only let down was the red dot lounge. Went there for breakfast, ordered bloomer toast, 2 portions for just under £8. When it arrived it was value sliced supermarket bread. I queried this and was told they don’t have bloomer bread and only ever served regular sliced loaf. How can you charge £8 for four slices of bread? No refund offered, they said people always complain about it! We’ll sort it out then, and serve what you advertise
