This is a great hotel if you are visiting Milton Keynes on business or as a couple. Set extremely close to the MK Centre, the Theatre and Campbell Park this is a well situated Hotel. The Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and very efficient in getting us checked in. We chose a Signature Plus room and were allocated 1118 on the 11th floor over looking Campbell Park and Willen Lake. The room was practically laid out and well sound proofed from external noise (MK pride was happening in the park) The bed, bedding and pillows (from The Fine Bedding Company) were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and I was hopeful of a lovely restful night.

Now the bad bit. The rooms are not well sound proofed from the neighbouring rooms. We could clearly hear those returning to room beyond ours at 10:30 with movement in their room and them talking. The occupant in the other room was a ‘snorer’ and was clearly heard by my wife and I throughout most of the night….what a disappointment

The restaurant/bar on floor 14 is split into two main sections, the Lounge and the A la carte dining. We ate in both and were served by lovely, attentive staff. Food was great in both eateries, as was the self service breakfast this morning.

The view from the 14th was stunning as we watched the sun set on Saturday evening looking right across the City of Milton Keynes. The outside deck was great for a view of the MK Pride event which looked like it was well supported.

A place we will return to and hope for a more peaceful nights sleep next time around.

I’ve stayed at the hotel several times in 2022 and never been disappointed and this weekend I spent 3 nights at the hotel again.

The ease of the access to the adjacent multi storey car park makes the stay very stress free with a 1 minute walk to the hotel.

Checkin is simple although be patient because sometimes there can be a wait to check in. I try to request a view of Campbell Park than over looking the CentreMK.

The rooms are very quiet, great air con and heating, exceptional bedding with wonderful pillows and a very comfortable bed.

In the bathroom The White Company shower gel and shampoo is complimentary in large bottles attached to the shower walls (Lime and Bay). The bathrooms are spacious and the towels of good quality. The towel rail is heated. However, the wall behind the rail is heated, a great design.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a litre bottle of still water provided with crockery. There is a safe, iron and ironing board and a wardrobe. However, there isn’t a fridge. There are ice making machines at the end of the corridors, but no ice buckets are provided so if you require ice consider something to hold the ice as I’ve never been able to source something in the room that would work. On occasions some of the machines haven’t worked.

I haven’t eaten in the restaurant although I have had drinks on the 14th floor that’s popular due to the view of Milton Keynes.

Would I stay again? Yes without a doubt as the location is perfect to the motorway and the city and access to the local restaurants and attractions.

Stayed for 1 night as a group in 3 rooms. Arrived after a long day wanting to get to our rooms get changed and go out for the evening. Check in took an age. There was no explanation for what was taking so long and I was losing the will to live. We had 2 of the keys eventually and then when the receptionist handed me the third key, we finally thought we were free but she shouted me back to the desk and asked to check my key and said I don't think it will work but go up to your room and if it doesn't you will have to come back down. Great! luckily it did work and when we got to the room we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms are clean and modern, beds and black out curtains meant we slept brilliantly. There is no info in the room about breakfast times or where to go for breakfast which would be useful.

Breakfast is extortionate at £18 each and they added a service charge of 10% for a self serve breakfast, this was removed when we went to pay thankfully.

Check out also slow, considering there was nothing to pay and she just needed to take a key from me.

My final negative point was the security guy in reception. So rude and abrasive. Two of our group popped out to the shop and on going back to their room were refused entrance by security despite them telling him they were guests and showing their room key, this was around 6.30pm not in the early hours of the morning or anything. You really shouldn't have to argue like that. I'm not sure what sort of clientele they are after but it clearly isn't us!

Location was good for night life and the bar on the 14th floor really does have spectacular views.

After hearing all the hype about this new hotel we had high expectations and were looking forward to our stay.
Everyone talks about the amazing views from the Sky Bar. We couldn’t get a table in the restaurant and anyone just having a drink is forced to sit on the side of the room with the view of the car park and buildings. It feels like you are being punished for not dining and there’s wasted space as you walk in the room, which could have been used for more tables with a view. More thought needed on this one.
The roaming bar staff were lovely, as were staff on Reception, but the ones serving behind the bar were rude, ignorant, slow and only interested in attending to certain guests.
There was a wedding being held on one of the lower floors so there was loud music until late and no prior warning. Having finally got to sleep we were woken at 2am by extremely loud guests in the room next door and other doors constantly opening and closing. Presumably wedding guests but why have them on a floor with other guests who are trying to sleep? Hotel staff appeared outside our room during the early hours, attending to all the complaints that had been made about the noise, but it made no difference until they tired at 4am anyway. Worst nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel.
Good points would be the hotel does have a luxury feel. Soft fluffy towels, rainfall shower, quality bedding and pillows etc and everywhere was spotless.
Not the hotels fault re noisy guests but they didn’t manage to stop the noise and maybe don’t mix wedding guests with other people. Also rethink the bar seating so you can also enjoy a drink with great views.
Glad we experienced the hotel but wouldn’t stay again. It was also a potential place to stay for my company’s VIPs but I’d be mortified if they experienced what we did.

1st impressions , large reception area , well staffed , check-in was fast and efficient
Stayed in Room 11 14 " Garden View "
Booked in advance , our price was £127.00
Being a " new " hotel the rooms were still fresh and new , nice rain shower , coffee facility , strange but no fridges ? I'm sure there is a reason for this but nowhere to put your drinks to stay cold ?
Bed was massive , very comfy , floor to ceiling viewing window of the view over the gardens of Milton Keynes .
I thought the room felt was a bit claustrophobic for my liking as there are no opening windows , its the modern design of the room not a criticism of the hotel .
Didn't use hotel for food but did enjoy a few cocktails from fourteen bar on the top floor , bit strange that the bar wasn't on the pleasant viewing side of the hotel and your outlook is mostly grey car parks ..bit odd a design fault ?
Cocktails are quite expensive £50 for 4 , have paid more but also have paid less , very busy area and had to wait 15 mins to be served with our drinks
Breakfast is also on the fourteenth floor , no issues here , good variety , fresh replaced items all the time , good experience
Check out wasn't so efficient , long ques waiting to checkout , but it
is what it is
Parking is at an multi Storey next door , discounted to £5 from the hotel
Would we choose to stay again ...yes i think so

A lovely location with respect to the nice views across MK, initial greeting was professional but sadly this was not consistent . We attended for lunch , two adults ,one small child - which we had enquired prior to booking and they advised they accepted children, then rang again yesterday as hadn’t located a child’s menu online and they said “ they we’re child friendly and could accommodate from the menu. It did make things a little awkward as the first choice they couldn’t do and left with chips and Goujons really and very little suggestions or offerings what they could do. It took approx 30 mins for “ nibbles “ of bread and olives to arrive, but thought it’s maybe it’s just a little relaxed… but more staff than customers, so hardly Busy. The mains arrived and was okay but too many goujons and chips ( and requested the fries ) for our toddler as we thought they’d adapt it somewhat rather than just serving us the small plates from the lounge menu. the food was presented nicely , the chicken supreme was nice but a little colder than I’d prefer, and although steaks can be hit and miss my husband had expected better but again was okay. We didn’t try a third course for ourselves due to the “ experience and service”,but we enquired if they would have ice cream for our little one and approx 10 minutes after this the guy returned asking what Ice cream we’d like… we decided to just have a coffee and enquired if they had skimmed milk or just semi skimmed , they said they’d enquire: but came back with two coffees… it’s hopefully all just teething issues and things will improve , or maybe an “ off” day. Two members of staff I felt their service levels were okay, but others were just hard work to engage with and little enthusiasm, not what I’d expect for the location, the image portrayed and that it is a new business. Even when one girl came over with something we hadn’t ordered and I said we won’t use it , she went to leave it on the table and I had to reiterate to please take it as we won’t use it, and she just looked at me blankly. There was quite a few staff at one point, yet we waited long enough that I still had to go up and request the bill, when that came - ( the quickest service we received ) there was anerror with that too, and i just felt quite a lot lacking in attention to detail as very few customers.

Overall it was okay, and nice to see it, but sadly wouldn’t be in a hurry to return and more just disappointing with the lack of service. The issue with not really able to offer a vast amount on the child’s menu wasn’t great especially after ringing to clarify that they could accommodate this request. It’s a shame it didn’t live up to our expectations.

It’s worth a visit and hope it’s a better experience for others.

I’ve stayed a number of times at this hotel and on this occasion I stayed 4 nights Friday to Tuesday.
Any hotel you expect the noise level to be louder at a weekend with parties and event’s staying at a hotel. However, this hotel remains very quiet. The rooms are very well soundproofed and the corridors are carpeted so guests wheeling trolleys is unheard. There are doors to the landing area of the lifts so these are separated from the corridors.

Good amenities and clean and it’s been cared even for a 1 year old hotel. I always try to request a higher floor room and one facing the park as the opposite side faces the shopping centre car park and it’s been known that ‘boy racers’ like to congregate on the top level at night.

The clean and spacious car park costs have increased from £2 to £8 a night and it’s a 1 minute walk. I wouldn’t suggest parking directly outside the hotel as ticket wardens are always present.

Having stayed so many times I would say this is the best hotel in Milton Keynes for service, accessible, cleanliness and value.

I booked this hotel for my wife and my three year old daughter for one night and checked out today. Staff at the front desk seem uninterested in helping out. The room was okay, nothing special but nice view of Campbell Park.
All night from 8pm the people next door started having loud music, loudly laughing and giggling. Had to ring Duty Manager to tell them to keep it down. She did after a second call when they could not find out which room it was! After a while, another party started again.
We stayed in room 911 on the 9th floor. I wrote to them on the Expedia chat I mentioned, but given I wasn’t feeling too well, by the time they responded I went back to sleep, and could not move rooms with my daughter asleep.
Got up during the night and noise was back at 4am! Nightmare!
They don’t offer any late checkout unless you agree to pay a fee or have any interest in any guest feedback option.
On a plus note, the breakfast has a good choice just they need to be mindful to move vegan and vegetarian choice arrangements slightly away so they don’t risk cross contamination. Other than that, I would probably just stop here for the breakfast and leave it at that.
If staff read these reviews, maybe they can explain what the going on was last night?

Visited hotel recently, receptionist Hamdi was so cold not even a smile or “Welcome to hotel la tour” ... she seemed like she had checked out of the job and we were ready to walk out. Thankfully when we got into our room it was wonderful, the maid was so friendly we said should be on reception instead to welcome visitors.
Room had bottled water and coffee machine and bathroom was spectacular. Hotel situated right next to shopping centre and restaurants, all 2 minute walking. Multi car park next door and discounted rate for hotel visitors. Top of hotel is where bar and breakfast situated. Concierge lady’s in evening in lobby called Debbie gave us wrong times of skyline opening bar, so useless!!
Will visit again as conveniently situated, just hope above staff are replaced

What could be an exceptional hotel in Milton Keynes falls short. I have stayed twice at this hotel: once just after the initial opening and the second time just a few weeks ago. The first time: Wi-FI was not working, room a/c had issues, restaurant food was barely edible. Second time: front desk ran my card at check-in for over 5,000 before I caught them and they admitted a mistake and ran for the right pre-authorization, breakfast is extra and certainly NOT worth the 15GBP each, waitstaff looked so miserable and we watched one member of staff insult a number of guests when talking with kitchen staff (the door was open). And don't get me started with Jane the Director. We were there for nearly a week and were not going to eat at the hotel every evening. So as it was nearing 9pm (service stops at 9:30pm) we picked up some food. I went up to the restaurant to ask for 2 plates that we could use to eat our on in the room. Jane was NO, no way, I cannot allow you to take 2 plates. Then she stated that we were a) not allowed to eat in the room, b) the hotel had a policy about guests bringing food into the hotel, c) that they are in the "hospitality business" and that yes, we should always be eating in their restaurant. She didn't budge. "no plates for you". So, I go down to reception, ask nicely if it "would be possible to get two plates", yes was the reply. I then explain why I had gone down to reception and how Jane was no non nein on just two f'ing plates. They were shocked. They also said that no they do not stop guests bringing in food but that they would prefer people to eat in the restaurant (that closes at 9:30!!). Finally, this hotel is way overpriced for the size of the rooms, with no on site parking. Avoid it if you can. Anyways, they are likely hoping to see it soon (that is the rumour in town).
