Very friendly, polite, and professional staff, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful venue also, and they serve great food with large generous portions are served. Great value for money and I would definitely visit again.
Been for lunch a third week on the trot A bit limited due to the COVID But all the same they have done a small bar up and food The outside space has had money spent and much better The large bar area is either gone or being refurb at preset Food nice staff friendly ,all very clean Well done enjoying the changes
It’s a lovely restaurant and lovely food, been he for 3 Sundays in a row and can not complain and the safety precautions available here are great with sanitising stations at every entrance and exit...

I couldn't find many cheap hotels or B&Bs that were close to the National Bowl for the Foo Fighters gig, and this was the closest available one. £50 for a night was the standard pay, and well, you do get what you pay for. Wasn't great, could use some TLC as hotel itself was worn down, we had dusty cobwebs in our room and the bathroom wasn't that clean either, shower wasn't working and the gaps in the tiles were brown with dirt and dampness. Breakfast wasn't nice either, had a full English with coffee and juice, coffee tasted cheap and watery, juice tasted like it had gone off and the breakfast itself wasn't that great. BUT, you do get what you pay for, and the staff were lovely, very friendly and very helpful, so they deserve three stars. Even though the hotel itself was cheap, I still ended up paying over £100 for taxis to the Bowl and train station and back, but I think that was a case of over charging taxi firms. The village of Cosgrove is lovely, peaceful and quiet so props for location and staff friendliness, and the hotel is good if you're only planning a one night stay.…
